Story notes: WARNING - This is my first ever M/M slash pairing, so be kind to me! Done M/F plenty of times and even a little F/F, but this is strange territory for me. Also, as always all characters belong to their respective owners. I am only borrowing Gimli and Legolas for my own delightful purposes. They will be returned to JRR Tolkien upon the completion of this ficlet in exactly the same condition upon which I received them. Well... maybe not *exactly*... but close enough.
