Summary: When Boromir and Faramir were young lads, they had tried to, well, you know. But Boromir had had no idea what he was doing – which resulted in Faramir getting hurt rather badly, and deciding to never – ever – do that again. Years have gone by… Aragorn comes on stage. The King is puzzled why his romantic interest causes such a petrified reaction on behalf of the Steward. Eventually, he learns the reason, which, of course, does nothing to discourage him…

Summary: Playing a game of truth-or-dare, young Boromir and Faramir end up daring each other to go see what’s in that high tower where their father seems to spend so many nights. They discover the palanthir. Spurred on by each other’s teasing remarks and generally intrigued, they look into it together. Well, guess what, it shows them making love to each other – something neither had even thought of before. Of course there is shock and bewilderment, and awkward laughter – but afterwards each finds the images to be permanently stuck in his head…

Summary: A boromirlives! challenge. Returning to Minas Tirith as the new Steward, Boromir confides his hopeless infatuation with the King in his ever-understanding little brother. Faramir for his part is also badly in love with Aragorn – but since Boromir called it first, and generally is the older brother – Faramir keeps it shut. And so he helps Boromir, first cautiously finding out whether Aragorn could be interested, then coming up with a strategy for seducing him, etc. – all of which eventually leads to Boromir’s desired result… But! Faramir of course is torn and suffering – and what if at some point Aragorn perceives that?

Summary: One night, Steward Faramir wakes up with a jolt to find himself tied to his own bed: blindfolded, gagged, naked and – oh, Valar! – in the company of another man. Faramir’s initial indignation and anger are soon replaced by fear, once he understands this is no silly joke and the stranger has quite serious purposes – and Faramir can neither free himself nor call for help. However, once he stops struggling, he realises his guest has no intention of hurting him, and is in fact being rather gentle and patient. So, given his lack of options, Faramir cooperates, and actually quite enjoys himself… But he has not an inkling who his lover is – even when the scarf from his mouth is removed to let them kiss and he begs for a name, the stranger gives no reply. Faramir cannot even tell whether it is Man or Elf. He has a smooth face, but so do many Men in Minas Tirith (now, let us assume that Aragorn, since Professor T had never said otherwise, does shave at least once in a while – so technically it could be him also). Faramir never gets another visit – but has to admit that he would actually like to. So here is the mystery part: he wants to find out who it was he had shared his bed with, and ask him some questions and possibly, well, do some things. I would like there to be some good suspense, preferably three likely candidates, each with some points in favour of him being Faramir’s nightly guest – please keep us guessing until the very end. And, well, how things develop after the discovery is up to you.

Summary: When Boromir comes to their bedchamber for the night, he finds his sixteen-year-old brother in bed – naked and in a nearly hysterical state. Eventually, after much sobbing and incoherent mumbling, Faramir manages to relate the following: he had been playing with himself using a candle, which, whoops, slipped too far in and got stuck. Apparently, he cannot go to the wards, for then Father would come to know, and that would be worse than death. But he cannot get the thing out either, had been trying for almost an hour and has only made it worse… Initially Boromir is completely freaked out (“Why would you want to put something up your bum in the first place?”), then horribly annoyed (“Well, then go stick your stupid arse in the hearth – maybe the candle would melt and leak out.”), but eventually, of course, he has no choice but try and help Faramir. Please make the process rather painstaking and embarrassing for both. And when it’s over, Faramir would feel utterly exhausted and humiliated, and be in dire need of some serious comforting… Needless to mention, by then Boromir would have probably warmed up to the idea of seeing his little brother from a somewhat different angle...

Summary: Something naughty and shameless involving Faramir, Boromir, a cold winter evening and a bathtub full of hot water. Bonus points for making it a first-time story, when they start by innocently sharing the bath – but then, well…

Summary: All Gondorian noblemen learn the High Tongue, at least the basics. But the Steward’s sons should know it well, so a real Elf is hired as a tutor. He is the first of the Fair Folk to be seen in Gondor for ages, and attracts lots of attention – Faramir in particular finds him entirely fascinating… Naturally, the young lord ends up getting a bit more than the education his father is paying for. Boromir finds out and does not approve… Why exactly does he not approve? Mm, you decide.

Summary: Legolas is the King’s long-term lover. They have a terrible row, Legolas is angry and sulky, and wants to do something mean and nasty to get back at Aragorn – which turns into getting into the rather surprised Steward’s bed. But just as Legolas’ spite is satisfied and he is ready to forget about the whole episode, he comes to learn that Faramir is – has long been – secretly and desperately in love with him. What a mess…! What to do?

Summary: Theodred is visiting Minas Tirith. He and Boromir, being same of age and similar of character, get on exceptionally well, much to Denethor’s enjoyment. Young Faramir, on the other hand, is very distressed, thinking this is the sort of brother Boromir really needs. To add to the youth’s troubled state, he gets harshly berated by the Steward – and, searching for solitude, comes to the old stables building, or some unused store-room, or something like that. It would be a large, dim and somewhat cluttered place, where he could make sure no one would ever find him while he waits for his misery to pass. Suddenly the door opens, and enter Boromir and Theodred. Faramir makes to voice his presence, but they forestall any such attempts by at once setting to snogging each other. So Faramir keeps quiet and ends up witnessing a long scene of rough, passionate and very graphic sex – including Boromir playing the bottom at some point, preferably on all fours. At first Faramir is utterly bewildered, for he had never even heard of anything like this happening between men… But then he realises this is definitely something he would also like to do – and afterwards cannot stop thinking about what he saw, and who he saw… I would like this to be developed either into a Faramir/Boromir, or Faramir/Theodred story.

Summary: Faramir gets his hands on a magic ring. Possibly as a present from Mithrandir. At first he does not know it is enchanted, but soon discovers it gives him some special power: hearing another’s thoughts, seeing the dreams other people dream at night – or, maybe, when he puts it on, takes a quill into his hand and pronounces a person’s name, his hand will write out the desires of that person. Whichever, really – with the help of this ring he should inadvertently come to learn of another man harbouring a secret passion for him – Boromir is the first to come to my mind, but feel free to choose someone else. Point is, Faramir is, for one, uncertain of the ring’s reliability, second, considers this method rather amoral. So what does he do with this questionable knowledge?

Summary: Aragorn wants to have a huge mirror installed into their chamber right alongside the bed, so that he and Faramir can see how they make love to each other. The King is secretly hoping it would help bring out Faramir’s wilder side, ridding the Steward of his annoying modesty and inhibitions. Faramir is not very keen on the idea – but once the mirror is actually there…

Summary: Faramir and Eowyn are experimenting with spicing up their intimate life. After some milder things, Faramir dares confess his fantasy of bringing a third party into their marital bed. To his delight and rather strong surprise, his wife is not insulted at all, but greets the idea with such enthusiasm that even promises to arrange everything herself. Imagine the degree Faramir’s surprise reaches when she brings along not another Rohirrim lady, like he had assumed by default that she would – but, as you have guessed, another man. But, well, much as he is bewildered, Faramir cannot call it off, for she had accepted his desire to lie with two women simultaneously – he has to play fair… It can’t be any of their blood relatives, but any other Man – or Elf – is fine.

Summary: Let’s have some weirdness. Aragorn has an evil twin-brother, who looks exactly like him and whom Aragorn had been trying to keep in secret all his life – for obvious reasons. But the man follows the new King to Minas Tirith – and all hell breaks loose…

Summary: Faramir is invited to Legolas’ Ithilien residence for the celebrating the Elf’s 2,532nd birthday. Towards the morning, the host and a handful of the sturdiest guests, including Faramir, set to playing a card game, an Elven version of strip-poker. The rest, I expect, needs no further explanation on my behalf.

Summary: Faramir is in his mid-twenties when he sets on a regular mission with the Rangers and – is lost… After all search fails and all hopes have to be given up, his brother, best friend and lover mourns for him deeply. But then, two years later, Faramir returns entirely unharmed – only different… It turns out he had ended up in the Golden Wood, where he had come to know the Elves – and learned many an interesting thing from them, some of which he is eager to not only tell about, but demonstrate to his overjoyed brother.

Summary: After struggling for a year, Aragorn and Faramir eventually break up, Aragorn having found it all a little too complicated, given Faramir’s well-known issues. But then, as the King witnesses his ex-lover develop a new, and obviously wholesome and happy relationship with someone else, he begins to have second thoughts…

Summary: Faramir is annoyed by Aragorn’s inability to comprehend why it bothers him so much that the King shares his bed with other men besides Faramir. Yes, Aragorn grew up with the Elves, whose ways are freer – but Faramir is no Elf. And the Steward decides to give Aragorn a dose of his own medicine by spending a night with – you decide who. In the end I would like one of them to see the other’s point – but whether it is Aragorn or Faramir who changes his views is up to you.

Summary: Young Faramir has his first crush – no, not on Boromir. He writes a letter with a confession, but has doubts over its content, and asks his older brother for second opinion. As Boromir listens to Faramir’s impassioned reading, he realises with a shock that he would like his little brother to express these feelings for him – but is a little too stunned by this sudden revelation to actually voice it just now. So time goes by, and an elated and unsuspecting Faramir keeps Boromir posted re the rapid developments in his first love affair. Well, what will Boromir’s internal struggle come to? Will he ever dare voice his feelings? And if he does, what will come out of it? Faramir is, after all, already in love…

Summary: On a pleasant summer morning, Boromir takes a break from his military duties to spend a day in the woods with his adolescent brother. It is fun and relaxing: beautiful nature, warm sunshine, not a soul around, so many things to do, etc. But then Faramir is stung by a bee – because he accidentally sat down on it. First Boromir deems it absolutely hilarious (“What kind of a warrior gets stung by a bee, huh?” etc.), but then has to help pull the sting out of the cheek of Faramir’s firm round behind. Boromir can’t manage to get the tiny little thing with his fingers, and has to give it a go at sucking it out… There is some severe awkwardness both try to conceal, for each thinks it is he alone who had felt something funny when Boromir’s lips planted a strong kiss on Faramir’s skin. But I dearly hope you can find some way for them to clear this silly misconception.

Summary: The Steward goes to the Wood of Greenleaves on a diplomatic mission to discuss the details of the Elven settlement that King Thranduil’s son wants to set up in Ithilien. Much as Faramir is fascinated by the Fair Folk, he knows little of them and is much worried their ways may be so different from those of Men, that it will be difficult for the two peoples to comfortably coexist. Sensing his unease, the receiving side (which may include Prince Legolas himself, if you like) eagerly sets to eliminating all gaps in Faramir’s knowledge of the Elven life-style.

Summary: The wall separating Boromir’s and Faramir’s bedrooms is not as thick as Boromir would have liked. His little brother has a rather eventful personal life, constantly shagging someone, or perhaps getting shagged – Boromir would rather not know. Usually the big brother grins and bears it. But one night, when all the moans, yelps, screams of “faster, faster!” and “fuck me hard, Captain Faramir!” won’t stop even after three in the morning, Boromir decides he has had enough. But as the door to Faramir’s bedroom is opened after Boromir’s furious banging, the heir’s ire abates a little – for he is greeted by the sight of his brother in full glory: unclothed, blushed and sweaty, raven hair in a mess, and with an impressive arousal to finish the picture. Moreover, behind him on the bed Boromir can see two young cadets, fresh but not innocent at all... Still, Boromir tries shouting – but Faramir is only grinning broadly in return. Yes, he already has an idea how to solve this conflict of interest…

Summary: Oh, Valar! There is a Dragon in the White Mountains! Hardly had the realm of Gondor had time to recover after the Great War, when this new bane came out of the blue. This particular Dragon, like most others, does not find it enough to simply burn down villages, eat the villagers and hoard treasure in his lair. What he loves most of all is malicious mischief for its own sake – so when a host of brave knights (some of whom all of us are well acquainted with) comes to slay him, he wants to have a bit of fun and instead of simply frying the foolish men, casts some wicked spells on them. You can go for classics, with people forgetting who they are and running around until they end up in strange relationships – or go ahead and think up something entirely different.

Summary: Faramir is mortally wounded or otherwise severely ill, and everyone is already mourning him. Thinking he has nothing to lose, the Steward finally confesses to the King a long concealed secret. Perhaps, his love for Aragorn – perhaps, something else. But, miraculously, he lives! However, Faramir is not sure how exactly he is going to live, given what he has told his lord…

Summary: Let’s explore this trope: a love potion is accidentally drunk by the people it was not intended for. Please make this an angsty and dramatic/tragic story, full of remorse, jealousy, wild unconquerable passion and desperate struggling against temptation. Perhaps for at least one of the lovers this relationship would mean having to be unfaithful to their spouse, or endanger their position to the point of making them a complete social outcast, or even death. But the magical love endures everything…

Summary: For Faramir’s birthday Boromir decides to make him the present of for once switching places in bed, so Faramir can play the top. Faramir is thrilled, but Boromir is in for some hardships, for he had not quite realised just how difficult yielding really is…

Summary: Faramir will never forget his summer in Dol Amroth. Young Faramir (17-19) spends several months at his uncle’s (training, errand, Denethor is tired of him – you decide), who is respectively 45-47. Faramir is a quiet serious youth, too mature for his years, and has little affinity with people his own age. He loves Boromir, but they are just too different. So in his uncle, who is a cultured, kind and attentive man, he finds all the warmth and understanding so badly lacking in his life. Imrahil in turn is very fond of Faramir, and a strong masculine friendship quickly develops between them, lots of trust and companionship. But! Each soon discovers his feelings are developing in some other directions as well (need I specify…?). Angst and bewilderment: men-love is utterly not accepted in Gondor, and anyway neither had ever desired a man before. Add the moral factor of uncle-nephew relationship. So they can’t exactly embrace their yearning… The exact plot and ending are up to you. What I would like to see: Some misunderstanding. For ex., each thinks he is the only one who has said feelings. Or, each perceives that the other is in love-lust with him, but thinks his own desires are well concealed. Angsty scenes of unresolved sexual tension. Such as: while bathing alone in the sea, in the library of Imrahil’s castle, during some summer feast, in Faramir’s bedroom when Imrahil comes for a friendly chat, etc.

Summary: Faramir thinks Boromir is in dire need of some intimate coaching. When Boromir returns from the Ring Quest, the brothers finally decide to be a little bold, and each discovers his long-hidden passion for the other is fully reciprocated. But! Neither has ever been with a man before, and Boromir, being the caring protective brother, gets himself totally convinced that he will horribly hurt Faramir if they actually try to have full-blown sex. So for quite some time they stick to a superficial light-duty routine, Boromir resolutely defying all of Faramir’s attempts to make him reconsider. Eventually Faramir gets so frustrated (and sex-depraved), that he shares his plight with Aragorn, who is by then a close friend of both brothers, and is well aware that they have a thing. Now, Aragorn, who is very experienced, comes up with a practical solution. He will come to the brothers’ bedroom, and demonstrate to Boromir that Faramir does not get harmed by being taken. Perhaps this could develop into a three-some…

Summary: Faramir’s secret diary is discovered. Somebody, Man or Elf, has a hopeless crush on Faramir. Lovesick and yearning to get close to the Steward at least in some way, he sneaks into Faramir’s rooms to see how the man lives. Inadvertently the admirer finds Faramir’s personal diary, where the owner’s covert desperate yearning for Aragorn is revealed. Knowing he would never get to have Faramir by any other method, the discoverer takes the diary and resolves to blackmailing the Steward into regularly lying with him, or otherwise Aragorn would come to find the little notebook right on his bedside table. Faramir is absolutely certain the King would scorn him if he knew, so he agrees to whatever is asked of him (which is not to say he finds the process entirely devoid of pleasure...). This may go on for quite a while – but then I would like it if somehow Aragorn began to get suspicious: the Steward has been acting strangely as of late, etc.

Summary: A few years after the War Aragorn, Faramir and another, Man or Elf (it could even be Boromir, if you like), are on some business up in the Mountains, when an avalanche descends on them. The three would either be in a hunter’s house or a large mountain cave, with a small supply of firewood and provisions, so they can last a few days. But there is extremely little hope of salvation, for the snow has dead-blocked all exits, and no one is likely to find and dig them out. You get the psychological atmosphere of the situation. All three are close friends, but no romantic relationships had arisen between them up to this point. But now… You know, desperation, depression, mad hopes, inescapable doom and no future… And then they just run out of fire-wood, and it’s winter up in the mountains. Up to you whether to make this into a tragic tale of hopeless love awakening only to be soon forever extinguished, as the frost takes them one by one – or have a happy end where at the last moment they are saved. You can also choose, of course, to have a bit of both, when not all of the company manage to make it through

Summary: Young Faramir (make him as young as 10 or 11 if you like), being chased by Orcs, or fleeing from abuse at home, eventually finds himself on the outskirts of Lothlorien. He is captured by the vigilant Elven guards (who are not particularly fond of strangers, as we remember…) and brought for questioning to the Lord and Lady of the Wood. But Galadriel sees he is but a frightened unfortunate boy, and takes pity on him. She places him under her protection, and he stays in Lorien in a position of something like her page. So Faramir’s youth passes with the Elves, he learns their tongue, their ways and their arts, and grows to fit in quite well. By the time he is around 16-18, he also grows to be very fair, alluring and provocatively unspoilt – and the Lady does not fail to notice that… So she thinks that to make his education complete, she ought to teach him some other things besides walking the tight-rope and shooting a squirrel in the eye. The lessons turn out so enjoyable for both parties, that Faramir soon turns into her habitual lover. Now, Celeborn… He finds it all very amusing for a while, and does not begrudge his wife her current entertainment: Galadriel is an eccentric woman, after all, and this mortal boy she has selected for a sex-toy is, admittedly, a commendable choice. But at some point the Elven-lord begins to get annoyed and even jealous (of whom…?) – and decides to take action. The term ‘action’, of course, has a multitude of meanings… Where it all goes from there is entirely up to you. Bonus points for having each part of the story presented from one of the three character’s POV, giving different perspectives on the situation – although of course I’d be more than thrilled to get a classical third-person narration as well

Summary: Faramir is en route to Dale on a diplomatic mission, but some mishap gets him off the course, he loses his companions, his horse, and ends up wandering into Beorn’s homestead. Now, that would obviously not be the Beorn Bilbo had met, but rather his grandson. Well, no difference: like father like son, etc. Suspicious, unfriendly, gruff, proud and independent, dark-haired, very tall and very strong – you get the picture. Faramir would not get a very warm welcome – perhaps Beorn’s dogs would chew him up a bit, or even the owner himself would cuff him a couple of times before deciding to give the strange visitor a chance to explain himself. A notch more hospitable this time, Beorn offers the Gondorian Steward to have some rest after the long road, and also heal his new cuts and bruises. After a couple of days, when the men get a little used to each other, Faramir begins to suspect Beorn’s reserved disposition is simply the other side of his loneliness and distrust. Well, I suppose it is understandable where things would go from there… One smutty little detail before I wrap this up. Beorn is tall. Very tall. Like, er, you know what I’m hinting at…

Summary: Faramir is captured and brought to a distant land as a prisoner (Harad, Khand or any other place of your choice). His fair noble looks win him the favour of the local king, who takes the Gondorian prince into his harem. But soon Faramir learns the blood-curdling truth: the lord sleeps with a particular man only once – and on the morrow the unfortunate fellow is beheaded. The king had once been cheated on by his long-term lover, and now keeps revenging himself for his pain and humiliation… So, by the time Faramir is called into the royal bedroom, he has a plan. After all the passions are satisfied, Faramir asks if the lord would like to be entertained by a story (let’s assume they, being noble and educated, have between the two of them a tongue both can understand). The king gives him permission to begin – but Faramir soon notices his master is getting bored, and thus the Gondorian decides to spice things up and add some intimate content. This reawakens the royal attention, and thus Faramir resolves to telling a tale from his personal adventures (which there were many of) – but in the most interesting place the morning catches him, and he has to stop. The king is so keen on learning how the story ends, he decides to spare Faramir for the day and kill him the following morning, after they spend another night together, and the man finishes his narrative. But, naturally, the following morning comes right in the middle of another captivating tale of Faramir’s – and thus it goes on…

Summary: Faramir is in a relationship with one of the Elven twins – problem is, he can’t figure out with which one… The brothers are entirely alike in looks, voice and bearing, and he just cannot tell them apart. Perhaps, there is some small detail, like one of the Elves having an intimate piercing, or a tattoo done in special ink that only becomes visible when, you know… So Faramir would realise his mistake only when things already get pretty far down the road to bliss. The Steward is annoyed and perplexed, because he wants to be serious, and considers himself in love – but can he truly be in love when he cannot even properly identify the object of his passion…? He fails to understand the brothers’ motives either. Maybe they are frivolous about the whole thing and are just having fun taking turns jumping into his bed – or maybe they are actually having a competition over him, who can tell? Make it light and funny, or seriously angsty – up to you.
