Title: Gone with the Elves Author: Celebrant Peredhil CelebornEstel@aol.com Pairing: Elrohir/Elladan (Elrond will work in with someone later on) Rating: R/NC17 Summary: Elrond horrid to Elrohir, but he has Elladan. No, Elrond will not stay that way AND Elrond slashy-ness will work in later. ::Nod nod:: Disclaimer: If you had one shoot And one opportunity To own all the slash you ever wanted... Erm, I don't own it... Warning: Incest Authors Note: I decided to use it. ^^; Here's the bunny: Gone With the Elves: Any slashy Elrond pairing but must include the phrases "Tomorrow at Imladris/Lothrien..." (for "Tomorrow at Tara") and end with Celebrian saying, "Frankly Elrond, I don't give a damn," before leaving for the Grey Havens. Doesn't necessarily have to follow Gone with the Wind or Middle Earth plots. ^^; Yeah and erm 1. I'm sorry Elrond fans I love him to, but it's explained why he's like that later on and um he won't stay like that. ..; He's my favorite character and I did it... I'm so...sorry... 2. It can never compare to my favorite Elladan/Elrohir fanfiction of all time, which I ended up crying in twice and such... Anyway: Elrond grabbed his wrist, "And what would a child know of such matters?" "More than a father who insist on treating his son as if he knows nothing," Elrohir snapped trying to pull away. "Let go of me." "To your room!" Elrond commanded. "You know it is tru-" "NOW!" he pushed him forward. Elrohir did as told with no enthusiasm what so ever, and lay on his bed crying in complete and utter humiliation. He had tried his hardest not to cry but the tears came freely, and who was he to stop them? He felt wrenched and his dignity was gone completely. "Elrohir, come here," his father hissed. No reply. "You heard me." He opened the door. "What do you have to say for yourself?" No reply. "You shall answer me!" Elrond grabbed his wrist forcing him up. "Well?" Elrohir gave what could have been a whimper or a choked cry. He smirked. "Think about what you did." He left out the room. *~*~* There was a knock at his door later that night. "Elrohir?" No answer. Elladan pushed open the door. "I'm sorry to barge in, but you weren't present at dinner." No answer. Elladan ran his fingers through Elrohir's hair sitting on the bed beside him. "Come now ... don't you want to talk about it?" Elrohir gave a weak whimper into his pillow. Elladan pulled him up and gently calmed him. "Come now ... what ever is the matter?" "Father hates me... And everyone knows you. Even you," he cried miserably on his brother's chest. Even if Elladan his brother by a few minute's time, he confined in him as the mother they has but never looked to for comfort. "It doesn't matter what he thinks," he assured him kissing his collarbone. "Everything's always wrong!" "So... To me everything's right..." "One opinion is not the world..." "It is if it's someone you truly care for. Don't you care for me?" "You know father would not approve." "So, does that matter?" "It does!" "You can't please others if you can't please yourself. And the only way you think you'll please yourself is to please others," he whispered in his ear softly. He nuzzled his twin. "I love you my dear brother." Elrohir smiled grimly. "Thanks." *~*~*~* "So, what'd father say this time?" Elladan asked munching on an apple inside the candle lit kitchen. "Were you 'Getting in affairs that don't concern children of our age level'?" he mocked. "Or were you 'behaving as savage Orc' perhaps? " "Quiet Elladan!" Elrohir hissed. "Father's already mad at me don't make it both of us...please?" "Only because it's you," Elladan stole a kiss from his brother and ran to the front of the door. "Coming?" "Your impossible!" "Always have been!" "Oh fine, you silly little wrench." "Of course I am, what am I supposed to be? Hum? Should I be the great lord of Rivendell?" he asked grabbing his cloak swinging about his shoulders walking past Elrohir head held high, nose in the air. "Elladan ... please..." Elladan stopped sensing the fear in his brother's voice. "Oh come now, you have to have a bit of fun or it's not worth living." Elladan put his arms about his brother's neck. "Don't you love me? Trust me? Or is it all about the sex?" "What would father say if he saw this! Or if someone came in!" "They'd be awfully jealous," Elladan purred. "You know you're enjoying this all to much. I can feel it." "That's my sword you idiot!" "So, might I use it?" "No, Elladan, it's actually my sword...nitwit." "Oh ... well no matter! You have another sword far better than it," he whispered into his ear seductively. "Why not a bit of fun, Elrohir. It'll take your mind off things." "Off! I told you father would not approve." "Then make him jealous." "Shall I have to push you off?" "Fine ... so what did you do?" "I don't wish to talk about it." "Please tell me, I want to know why he got so upset," Elladan urged. "I only told him it would be wise to ask Thranduil's help in the upcoming war. You know what Orcs can do ... look at our moth...moth..mo..." he turned his head away. He looked unto the ground eyes wet and shinning with unshed tears. Elladan walked over to him and placed his hand on Elrohir's shoulder for comfort. "I know, I miss mother as well..." "It just doesn't seem fair ... why'd must she always go." "She loves her mother and father just as we do ours..." "You're right I suppose..." he sighed. "It's been two summers passed and yet it feels as though it was yesterday...I had a dream...I remember it all ... her face was so pale ... like death ... and her eyes were so distant ... they just stared ahead... I mean it was if she was looking to go where we couldn't. And father ... poor father. His eyes shinning with tears he didn't shed. But he shed them that night as he lie in his bed alone. Sometimes I wish he'd find another so he wouldn't be alone every time she left..." "You can't blame him for being so aggressive, we're the only thing he has left and doesn't want to let go of us. He doesn't mean it when he snaps at you and how he hits you ... he simply can't help it. The pain we feel is ten times greater for him. Did he slap you again?" Elrohir looked down refusing any answer. Elladan lifted his hair from his face checking for any sign of it and there on the side it was bright red. "Oh Elrohir... He simply can't keep doing this to you." "I'll be fine." "No, you won't! Now stay and let me tend to it in my room. Go in there and sit down. I'll be there in a bit." "All right Elladan..." *~*~*~* Elrohir looked up as Elladan came in. "Lie down." "I do not wish to do so." "Please," he begged in concern, "in my lap so I might watch over you after I'm finished." How could Elrohir resist such a sweet question? A plea even? "As you wish, my star." "*Your* star?" asked Elladan lifting an eye brow while crushing herbs into a bowl of boiling water. "Well, aren't you?" Elladan mixed a jar of brownish liquid in. "Tell me aren't you mine, *my* Elladan?" "I'm starting to reconsider. Now stay still! It shall probably hurt but you're not helping moving around so. "*I will try as best I can, my star.*" "Oh hush with that! Say, what was it I called you long ago?" "Your Jewel of the Sea," he flinched in pain as the herbs entered the wound. "Do you remember the day of courting, Elrohir?" he asked trying to take his mind away from the pain. You showed me how you received a perfectly well fitting name, my elf-rider. "You remember?" "How could I forget? I was sore for days on end because of it you roughen! Not that it wasn't worth it," he smiled. "When father gave you that name I do believe he intended for you to ride horses and in a different fashion." Elrohir was shaking violently by this point. "My poor Elrohir..." he kissed him softly on his face. "The pain shall diminish, see not so bad is it?" "So you say... I have a mind for a bit of revenge." "Come now, I'm no longer in the mood for such things." Elrohir stood, "No matter. You shall be soon. Off with your clothes and on the bed." "Elrohir... I don't think you should do that, with your fa-" "I said down!" he commanded. He didn't know what it was about that voice, sounding so much like his father's, but Elladan trembled when he used it. It had the same effect as pressing a knife to his neck, which was always to his advantage. "Yes, Elrohir... I heard. Must I?" "Take them off!" Elladan quickly removed his clothes and lay them neatly on the chair by his table filled with papers and books. "Bed." "But, Elrohi-" "Now!" "Yes, Elrohir..." It wasn't that he didn't enjoy his brother's pleasure, but he was terribly rough. He lay on the bed and drew in a heavy breath. Elrohir's breathing was warm on his arousal and he shivered waiting for what would come next. "Elro-" Elrohir took him in violently pulling greedily. Elladan whined softly in what Elrohir thought was pleasure. As he was near coming Elrohir lick him up and pulled away. "Why do you pull away?" Elrohir kissed his face licking at his ear softly. He did it to the fullest making Elladan whimper and squirm beneath him before he came in pleasure. "Don't you trust me?" "Yes, but it was...and then... I mean..." "No words are needed," he smiled and nuzzled his brother. "Don't you want me to, um..." "No." "Why not?" "I don't want it." "Sure?" "Positive." Elrohir got up sitting on the chair looking through his papers. "Say what's this?" "Oh...nothing just some notes. Well, you'd better go get some sleep. I'd go if I could but I really have work to do." "Night, my star." "Night." As Elrohir left he read the piece of paper, "The horn I heard Midsummer Night The one from Shadowed land His darken eyes full alight And alone I saw him stand Upon his horse he came at once Then jumped onto his saddle Why must it start in these months, This distant raging battle? Then they came from the hills Consuming all they passed The first I thought, could it be real? I had no one to ask..." A silent breath I took And starred ahead wide eyed I heard as fear in voices shook the lord now by my side Now was no time for turning back For now I'd go ahead Though I had doubts, no skill I lacked His horse in battle with us led. I heard his cry, his eyes that bore into the sword he drew And then I watched in horror as their numbers grew... Trash." He sighed putting it into his notebook went to his bed falling asleep in complete exhaustion. To be Continued... Authors Note: 1. Told ya Elrond was a good guy ^^ 2. I'm sorry but I hate Celebrian.... Hate is such a strong word ... Stupid Orcs... 3. Erm the last one had a BIG mistake. Correction: "Father hates me... And everyone knows it. Even you," he cried miserably on his brother's chest. Even if Elladan his younger brother by a few minute's time, he confined in him as the mother they had but never looked to for comfort. 4. Yes, the poem is mine. 5. I'm sorry Tolkien... (And Margaret Michelle) I never meant to hurt you... I never meant to make you cry but tonight ... I'm *hiding* in my closet. 6. Didn't believe me didja Elrond fans?! And so it continues! ^^ "Elladan," Elrohir nudged his brother awake. "What?" he groaned coming from his peaceful sleep. "Why do you keep so much from me?" he asked flipping through Elladan's notebook filled with poetry, essays, and so forth. "Whatever do you mean, my Jewel?" "You never showed me this for one." "Why are you going through my things!" "I was only curious, don't be mad. I did not mean to interfere but you write so honorably and...and..." "And it's trash." "If you think it is so why do you keep it?" "To find my flaws." Elladan nervously fingered his ring. "I remember when you gave this to me... Elrohir, I've tried my hardest to do it well, but I cannot. I can't put my heart into anything I write. There's a wall I've built and it won't come down, not even for you most time. I want you to have my heart in full, I truly do, but I can't rid it of this wrenched wall!" Elladan sat up hugging his pillow to his chest, his chin resting atop it. He was miserable in confusion and unable to express what he wanted. "Oh Elrohir ... leave me be for the morning." "I can't do that and you know it." Elrohir sat down aside Elladan and wrapped his arms about him holding him as close as he found possible. "You know what the sad thing about writing is? Words, no matter how many, how well arranged, can never truly tell a story beyond the paper. Everyone has an outer self and an inner self. This outer self is just how your personality is to the world. And the inner is everything you want to world to know, but can't tell it." He sighed. "See, you can always manage to find the perfect words for everything. I envy you for it." "You shouldn't, you do it just as well and perhaps better." "I don't want your pity." "I'm not giving you pity, I'm giving you my heart. I'll have yours in whole one day." "I suppose. I miss him...Well the old him at least..." "Tell me." "You mean you don't mind?" "Of course not, I've never truly had your complete heart so why should I be jealous of one who has a third of it?" "Thank you," he whispered nuzzling into his brother's arms farther. "I never thought you'd understand. Sometimes I wonder if you've been inside my head and saw my thoughts, the inner self you spoke of. Maybe it's being with you since birth and before that's had us establish such a strong connection, but whatever it is I still wish I could fully give my heart to you." "Don't wish, let it be so and give me what of your heart I have." And so they sat thus for what seemed as hours, Elladan in his brother's arms and Elrohir around him protectively. "Might I ask though, whom else your heart belongs to?" "You won't like it..." "I might not, but I'll accept it." "Father... Elrond." "Father? Of all people why him?" "See, I told you you'd be mad!" "I'm not mad, I just want to know why." "Have you never really looked at him? His eyes glance to our mother the same way I do you. He has a wall thicker than any I've seen and inside that many wars are fought between love he's never had. I just wish I could give him that..." "I desire that to, but you do it from pity not love. He's in love with Glorfindel." "He is?" Elrohir nodded. He could barely believe Elladan had never noticed it. Those looks of desire they gave each over when the other was looking elsewhere. Then, how they always wished to be around each other and made excuses. And to top it all off how they did anything at all to please each other. How could two be so blind? "You haven't noticed?" "Oh, I did, but I never thought about it." Elrohir sighed. "Don't think I only want you for myself, it's just that father acts so and how you only pity him and-" "I know." "Perhaps before the end you'll have what you've wanted for so long. Why are we so different? You're fire and water in one and I'm only wind." "How so do you mean that, Elladan? I do so love the feel of your name on my lips..." he sighed. "You can change from rough to soft in a matter of seconds while I can only blow my voice to kill you. See! That didn't even come out right!" "That's not true." "Why's this all happening?" "The gods intended it so, just as they intended us to fall in love." "This is not a fairy tale." "You cannot deny your heart. Let it rule you as it once did." "I'm so confused now. Everything's so wrong. We've gone from my writing to this." Elrohir removed himself from Elladan and asked him to stay while he made him a bit of tea. "It won't help." "It may. I'll be back in a minute or so." Elrohir came back to him softly shutting the door behind him, "I'm-" Elladan was on the bed asleep looking calmed and peaceful. Sitting the tea down and he lay down beside his brother. He covered them with a blanket wrapping his arms about him. Ever so gently so as not to wake him up he placed the softest of kisses upon his cheek. "Good night, my star." *~*~*~* "Elrohir!" Elladan was crying grabbing on to him frantically. "Shh, quiet, what's wrong?" Elrohir held him quieting him while rocking him in his arms. "Quiet now, what's wrong?" "Father ... and he ... and you ... And us ... and...and..." "Come now I can't understand you." "Father saw us together and he forbid us to see each other. It's was horrid, Elrohir, horrid..." "It was only a dream," he lie down pulling Elladan close kissing his cheek. "Have sweet Dreams, my star. Clear those thoughts from your mind and think only of me. I'm here, for tonight at least. I'll stay until morning." "Thank you..." "Think nothing of it." *~*~*~* "Why are you sharing his bed?" Elrohir looked up from his embrace around a still sleeping Elladan to find his father's displeased gaze fixed upon him. "He... He didn't feel well, he's horribly depressed, and nightmares haunted his dreams. Is that not what an older sibling is for?" "You expect me to believe this?" "Please keep your voice down..." he begged. "He's rather upset and this won't help him in the least bit." Elrond sighed in exasperation. "Are you telling me the truth? Look me in the eyes and say it." Elrohir looked him in the eyes. It was the truth, Elladan had a miserable night and needed his embrace. Not only was it cold, but he was frenzied with confusion, and then he'd woken up twice from nightmares. "I speak the truth." "So be it. I do not wish for you to become more ... attached to him than necessary." "I know..." It was necessary to get even farther attached. He needed someone more than anything else and that's what he was there for. "Father, might I speak with you?" "Why?" "It concerns Elladan," Elrohir as silent as could be managed crept from his bed so not to wake Elladan. "He is worried for you." He pulled the door closed and walked down the hall aside Elrond. "Why?" he repeated. "It's how you always seem so despondent around mother and then how you act when she is away-Please do not be upset. I'm only telling you the truth. Don't hurt Elladan... I beg you not to. I take the blame. I should not have spoken of it. I could not bare you to harm him..." "Whatever gave you that idea?" "You-" he realized that the night before Elrond had drank nearly a quart of wine. No wonder... "Oh." "Oh what?" "Nothing. Anyway it was probably ... only a dream I had." "Well, continue." "Well, do you not have feelings for Glorfindel?" Elrond opened his mouth as if to speak but grew silent. "That does not concern you." "It does ... because it concerns Elladan. He only wishes for you to be happy. He sees you are not happy with mother away so often and then how upset you are that you cannot give your heart fully to her." Elrond squeezed Elrohir's shoulder. "Yes, ... that is true, but-Please Glorfindel would not understand." "He would. He does the same to you though he hasn't a loved one." Elrohir sunk into a chair having arrived in Elrond's study. "I must admit to you... Please don't be upset." "What is it?" Elrond asked gently somewhat expecting what was to come. "Elladan knows your pain- I love him, I know it's wrong, but I can't help what I feel and he's just like you. He can't give me his heart wholly because of his worry for you. Just as you can't give Glorfindel, or mother, your heart for your love of them both. I know you don't approve, but I would rather die a thousand deaths for his love... He's pure ... innocent... Please don't take him from me... I beg you...Please... Please...I'll do anything at all... Anything... I need him as he needs me...You can't... You just can't..." Elrond looked to him with pity and embraced him giving him reassurance and comfort. "Have no worries... Yes, it is forbidden, but a love so pure as yours has no sin. The gods intended it." For the first time in his life, Elrohir was glad his father was a fatalist. Elrond let go of him and sat across looking at his son with silent respect. "Father ... thank you. Would you please consider Glorfindel? If you love him isn't that enough? You deserve it for your pain. He shares your love and the pain with it." "Fine, if I must try." "Tomorrow! And at Imladris." "If I must." "You must. Thank you ... can I.. in his room ... sleep with him?" "Go on." "Thank you! By the Gods, thank you! Oh, thank you! Good luck!" he spluttered. Elrond shook his head, "Try not to run into the wall... Nor wake him!" *~*~*~* "Elladan! Elladan! Wake up!" Elrohir panted. "I spoke to father!" Elladan's eyes grew wide. "What did he say-What did he do? Did he find out? Did he-" "No, no! He approved of it in fact and tomorrow he's going to tell Glorfindel and, and-Oh Elladan!" He embraced him. "Isn't it wonderful?" "What about last night?" "He drank nearly a quart of wine, I'd forgotten! He's back to normal and doesn't recall a thing! He said our love was pure and the gods intended it!" He grabbed Elladan falling onto the bed with him. "My star!" his lips madly kissed him with every name he could think of. "My beloved! My own! My one! My brother! My twin! My prince! My perfect one! My love! My gift of the gods! My beautiful one! My jewel! My life! My angel! My world! My Elladan-Mine." "You can't be serious, it's to good to be true! He agreed? To everything? Even Glorfindel?" "Yes, Elladan, yes!" "Won't you take me to him? I'd dearly like to thank him for understanding. Will you?" he looked up at Elrohir eyes shinning with the childish joy only he possessed. "Of course. Come along, my star." *~*~*~* "Father, I've brought Elladan." "Come in." Elladan ran to Elrond and threw his arms about his neck. "Thank you, Daddy! Thank you!" Elrohir smiled at his twin, his star. Younger only by a few moment's time, yet acting younger by a few decade's time. "You're almost of age and you still call him daddy?" "Glorfindel?" Elrohir asked looking at the door where Glorfindel stood smiling at the ordeal with interest. Elrohir glared protectively while Glorfindel shot him a mischievous grin. "Elrond, beloved, what's this?" Elladan and Elrohir looked to him mouths opened in identical shock. "They're simply thanking me, when it's them I should thank, my sun." Elladan yawned and Elrond smiled kissing his brow and looking to Elrohir to receive him. Elladan shook his head, most likely trying to removed the sleep overcoming him, and the chain on his neck jingled with a ring and the tear dropped shaped piece by it. Elrohir grinned looking at the ring and necklace he'd gave him the year before. He thought of how Elladan sat on the bed looking up to him. The shocked expression when he admitted his love and placed it on his neck stroking his cheeks in the process. And then cupping his face in his hands kissing him ever-so softly. "Elrohir?" Elladan was sitting by him now hugging him close. Elrohir gave him a rare smile, one meant only for him, and Elladan nuzzled into his hair kissing his nearly healed cheek. Ai, such a beautiful fragrance Elrohir's hair had. It was one of Elladan's favorite things in the world, and his favorite smell. Sweet strawberries and summer rain with honey suckles... "Elrond." Glorfindel whispered looking at the scene before them his hand entwined with Elrond's. "They're beautiful together aren't they?" Elrohir held Elladan's hands cupped in his while Elladan's head rested on his shoulder. "Of course they are. Should I tell Celebrian of them? Of us?" "It would not be wise to keep things from her." "That's true..." Elladan sighed mumbling. "She's going to tell us it's wrong and forbid us to be with each other. I know she shall..." Elladan wasn't ever that fond of Celebrian, he only suffered through her because of Elrohir's love for her. He'd lied more than a few times about missing her, in fact he was glad she was gone. "No, she won't," Elrohir mumbled back. Elrond looked down grimly, "That is a problem... Well, we have a month to plan for her arriv-" "My lord! Celebrian has arrived." "Ai Elbereth...she's early with terrible timing. I'll go greet her." "Can I come?" Elrohir asked happily. "If you wish." "Do you hear Elladan, Mother's back!" "I heard..." "Aren't you going to come?" "No, I'm going to my room. I- I have to...find something." "All right." *~*~*~* "Here, Elladan. Mother wanted me to give it to you since you were busy. It's a notebook. The perfect gift for you." "I have a notebook," he replied bitterly. "Yes, but look at this one. It's velvet and laced with golden trimmed pages-" "I have a notebook." "What's wrong?" "Mother would never approve." "You said that about father and look what happened." "Yes, but with father there was a chance!" he snapped. "Don't you see what folly there is in your false hope?" "You're not being reasonable." "I'm not being reasonable? You should hear yourself!" "Oh come on, Elladan, leave it be for the night. Let's celebrate father's approval. Take off your clothes and sit down...Please?" "All right..." They removed their clothes and sat next to each other on their knees. Elrohir reached for a bottle of lubricant not far from the bed. As Elladan motioned to do it Elrohir shook his head. "No, tonight I shall be the elf-riden. I'm much to dominant... Forgive my blindness. So, I offer you dominance from once." "If you insist, my jewel." Elrohir looked him into the eyes as though he was there for one solid purpose-To serve his brother. He spread the oil into his hands. He grinned, it was a delightful temperature, nicely cool. He applied it as skillfully and softly as possible with pleasing fingers as his brother had, even though he'd never done it. Elladan moaned from his soothing speed. "Elrohir," he purred. "It feels so good... I mean usually you're so rough and..." his eyed fluttered. "This is most enchanting." "Anything to please you, my star. I-" "By the gods! What are you doing, Elladan?" "My name is Elrohir, mother," he sighed. "I love him, can I not please the one I love?" "It's forbidden! And I forbid it! I'm going to tell your father now and see what he makes of this!" she turned leaving out the door. "I suppose you were right, Elladan..." he sighed. Elladan couldn't have cared less if he was right. He was in Elrohir's arms crying and mumbling incoherently. Elrohir closed his arms tightly around Elladan. "It'll be all right. I promise you that," he assured him wrapping the blanket tightly around them both. *~*~*~* Elrond knocked on the door, "Elladan... Elrohir." "Come in," Elrohir sighed. "Your mother knows..." Elrond sat down on the bed aside them both. Elrohir nodded and Elrond looked to Elladan still crying in his arms. "Well, I've good news and bad." "How so?" "Well, the good news is your mother shall have nothing to do with it and you can stay together as well as Glorfindel and I-" "The bad." "She's leaving tonight, or rather running off with Galdor. If she doesn't accept it then so be it." "I don't understand." "She loves Galdor more than I, she's going to the grey havens with him." "How do you seem so ... oblivious to the fact that you're both married?" "I knew it was coming. Galadriel's bird bat- erm mirror fortold it. Have hope, Elrohir. Hope is the only thing we have and without that it would be a world of complete misery." Elrohir nodded. "Elrond." "Yes, Celebrian?" he asked looking through the open door to her. "I'm going." "Are you sure you wish to? Leave me, your daughter, your own sons?" "Frankly, Elrond, I don't give a damn." And with that she turned on her heels and left for the Grey Havens arm-in-arm with Galdor. Little did she know, years from then she'd be wounded on a trip to Lorien and taken to Rivendell to be healed. And little did Elladan and Elrohir know they'd go after the Orcs hunting them down for NOT killing her. "Women," mumbled Elladan. Elrond smiled lovingly at them both, kissed their brows, and left out the door as a "Glorfindel!" was heard. "Care to try again, My Jewel?" "Of course, My Star, but what was the end of that poem?" "Fair he was, and great a lord A man of men I'd never seen His shout then brought us toward the battle that's fate was deemed I saw him fall from steed The one that into battle bore the one who fought so many deeds But never anymore..." "As if that shall happen to us in these days." "Never know." *The End*
