Title: The Dream-Catcher Author: Dinen Glamor Rating: R Pairing: Éowyn/Ky Warning: Mary-Sue. That definitely warrants a warning. Femslash. Summary: There’s a girl and she’s just so incredibly special that she can help Éowyn get what she desires. Author’s Note: Written for the Mary-Sue challenge of the LoM boards. Not my normal writing angle, believe me. -------------------- The news rippled through the crowd of intrigued men. “Who is she?” “I’ve heard she’s an elf.” “An elf? What have you been drinking? She’s a Valar at the very least.” “I don’t care what she is...I’d do her.” “Yeah, because she’d have you!” Their bickering was quelled as she drew near. Her mount, a magnificent white stallion, tossed his mane as he stopped at the gates of the city. She was beautiful – but beautiful was a word that could not describe her. Her long hair was as black as the emptiness of the night sky, though with streaks of golden and pink. Intricate little plaits held some of it, but the rest flowed freely: a threat, or a promise, of her unpredictability. Her cerulean eyes shone with a delightful mischievousness and her smile to the man standing before her left him feeling quite weak. “Greetings, my lady,” he croaked eventually. “What brings you to Rohan?” “I,” she announced, “am Princess Kysyryana de Flou-Fleu, the only daughter of King Jim de Flou-Fleu of the Paragai Lakes.” The man gasped. “The Paragai Lakes? I had thought they were a legend!” “Nay, just so far they might seem as such,” the princess said thoughtfully (because she was really very insightful and rather profound). “Then of course, I would not try to stop you entering!” the man assured her. “I’m sorry to have stopped you, but it’s hard to know who to trust. These are dark times...should you like to see the king?” She thought for a second. “No, I don’t think that will be necessary. I am not sure I can...I mean, he can help me.” The man looked surprised. “Oh. Perhaps that was once the case. Maybe you have heard that he is weak, governed by evil advisers. Well, those days are over. Not long ago, he was saved by a wizard, a man and an elf. So there is hope for him!” “And for that you have my best wishes. Yet I do not wish to see him,” she said firmly. She did not continue to explain. “Ah. Well, that’s fine, fine. I shall find you a room and introduce you to the Lady Éowyn. I’m sure you shall find her very good company; she is an excellent woman,” the man said. “What was that...Éowyn?” The man nodded. Éowyn...yes, that felt right. Although Ky did not make a point of telling people, she was a very special person. She was able to help people achieve their dreams, whatever they were. She had always had this ability, and she found that she would get a feeling that she had to go somewhere and that would be where the next person she had to help would be. She did not get much guidance, only the instinct of whom she should help. It was her incredible intelligence and charm that would eventually come in useful for these people. And Éowyn was definitely feeling right. She was here to help this Éowyn. * * * Éowyn had been looking out from the arched window in her room and so she had been expecting the entrance of this woman led by one of the men. “I would like to introduce Princess Kysyryana de Flou-Fleu of the Paragai Lakes,” the man said. “Oh, please, do call me Ky,” the woman smiled. Éowyn found herself warming to her immediately. “I am Éowyn. You are most welcome in Rohan.” “Thank you.” “You may go,” Éowyn said to the man, who loitered a few seconds longer, his eyes lingering on Ky’s body, before scampering out with a bow. “What is that has tempted you to Rohan, Ky?” Éowyn asked. “You,” Ky answered demurely. Éowyn felt her heartbeat quicken. “Oh?” she asked. “Yes...there isn’t much time to explain, but you must tell me what you want most in the world. I have come to help you achieve it,” Ky told her, her eyes intense. Éowyn gasped. “Are you serious?” Ky nodded. “Be open with me.” Éowyn looked pensive for a second. “There is one thing I want, though I did not know until a few days ago that I wished for it. A man named Aragorn came here and I instantly fell in love with him. I must have him or I will die.” “I see,” Ky said. “And he is still here?” “Yes.” Ky turned to the window and looked out thoughtfully. Éowyn took the opportunity to fully examine her guest. She was well dressed; her light blue dress fitted her well, betraying her curves. Éowyn felt her initial attraction to her guest heighten. Ky turned back to Éowyn. “I think I can solve your problem.” She lifted her hand and touched Éowyn’s cheek. “Do you trust me?” she asked. Éowyn nodded, breathless, and Ky drew her into a magical kiss, soft and undemanding. Éowyn looked at her surprised as they parted. “I don’t understand.” Ky smiled. She opened the door and collared a passing servant. “Go fetch Mr Aragorn and tell him there is something of interest to him in Éowyn’s room. Do not tell him we have sent you. Make sure he comes quickly, but do not pester him or accompany him back.” The servant gibbered a little before escaping to do as she commanded. “Do you see now?” Ky asked Éowyn. “It is well known that men have plenty of fantasies and one of them involves two women together. While he may not have considered you alone, once he sees what a wild thing you are, especially with a gorgeous bint like me, he’ll be gagging for it.” Éowyn squealed with delight. “Oh! How clever! What are you that you can be so amazing? Are you an elf?” Ky smiled. “Half elf.” “Then you must be a Valar too,” Éowyn said wide-eyed. “Indeed. In fact, I am half elf, half Valar, half dragon and half man,” Ky admitted. “Half dragon?” Éowyn asked, surprised. “Yes. That’s how I came to be so darned hot.” “Oh, there had to be an explanation,” Éowyn gushed. “I must say, I’m not usually one for such high-jinks but there’s something about you that turns me on so much.” “Well, we should probably get started, my dear,” Ky said, “or Aragorn will arrive to two girls having a very friendly chat rather than a very spontaneous-orgasm- inducing tryst.” Ky drew Éowyn close to her and kissed her again, her hand wandering over Éowyn’s body. Éowyn flung her arms around her and kissed back with passion. Ky’s fingers flickered expertly over the fastenings to Éowyn’s dress and soon it fell to the floor, leaving Éowyn in her translucent under-dress. Ky pushed Éowyn back onto the bed that happened to be in the room. Éowyn fell back with a sigh. Ky put her hand on Éowyn’s leg and slowly slid it up, pushing her skirt up with it. Éowyn’s surprised gasps were cut off by Ky once again kissing her. There was a knock on the door. “Don’t answer,” Ky whispered into Éowyn’s ear. “He’ll come in eventually. Whatever you do, don’t look at him. Act like you don’t know he’s there.” From the look on Éowyn’s face, that wouldn’t serve to be too much of a challenge. “Éowyn?” came a man’s voice. “It is. It’s him,” Éowyn said, wide-eyed. “Good.” Before Éowyn could reply, Ky continued with her kissing, this time with more fervour. Éowyn was so swept up she didn’t here the door open. But Ky did, and out of the corner of her eye, she saw a tall, ruggedly handsome man enter and double take. “Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to...” he started to explain, but as he saw that the two didn’t appear to mind his presence, he stopped backing out of the room and instead, gently closed the door behind him and stood, watching. Ky’s hand slipped up to the top of Éowyn’s thigh, pushing her skirt up. She felt the warmth at the top of Éowyn’s legs as her partner pushed up to meet her hesitant palm. The next few minutes passed in an explorative frenzy. Ky slid her free hand down Éowyn’s back, brushing away the sweat. Éowyn began to fondle one of her breasts, drawing her thumb across the hardened nipple. Each anticipated the other’s movements, moving in harmony, breathing together. And then Ky drew her hand away. Éowyn gave a sharp gasp of shock and clutched at Ky, who simply kissed her cheek and stood, rearranging her dress. As she started for the door, she smiled at Aragorn, who emerged from the shadows and grabbed her arm. “What are you doing? You can’t just leave!” he said. “Why not?” she asked. “It’s not fair...the poor girl needs you,” he frowned. “Nay; she needs somebody, but not me,” Ky smiled. “Go to her. Help her.” Aragorn’s eyes widened in realisation. Ky swept from the room and shut the door pointedly behind her. As she walked away, the man she had first talked to stopped her. “Hello again, your highness,” he greeted her. She nodded to him, pleased with her work. He swallowed hard. “Look, I was wondering if you’d like to come back to my hut,” he said quickly. She shook her head. “Sorry. I’d love to, but I must be away.” “You’re going?” The man could not hide his disappointment and horror. She nodded. “There are people out there who need me.” “But what about us?” From down the corridor, Ky could hear the gasps and moans getting louder. “No, I think I have helped you all enough. Now, where is my steed?” She mounted her stallion and was away. Where to next? She found herself being drawn east. Apparently, there was somebody going to Mordor who needed saving... -the end-
