Happy muses make happy authors, happy authors write faster… ;o) ~ Special thanks to Elaine for the beta J ~ ~ * ~ Erestor looked around him, the table was set and the sparkling stars shone above him in the sky. Leaning on the rail, he looked at the moonlit garden surrounding the gazebo, a private place surrounded by enough garden that the lovers wishing to use it would not be seen easily. What on earth had possessed him to agree to this he did not know. All he knew was that now, he was stuck there and his date was late. He could tell by the candles burnt almost to the holder. That was if there was any date at all… Leaning forward, he buried his face in the palms of his hands for a couple of seconds before he poured himself a glass of wine and sat on one of the cushioned benches at the side, wishing to continue to look at the sky. It was so beautiful that night, it made his heart warm up a little, making him feel a little as he did when he was younger and more hopeful. He should not be surprised at all, no one would have wanted to date him, as most considered him bitter and boring, but he liked to believe, someone might have spared him the time he was now losing. Somehow, it was better trying to concentrate on that, rather than on the fact no one would actually enjoy a couple of hours and a fine dinner with him. He wished he was sleeping in his bed, or reading that book that had arrived in the last shipment and he had been unable to touch yet. If he had only said ‘no’, but who dared say no to the Lady of Imladris? Who dared say no when she tried to organize spring festivities? And most important of all, who could say no to that slight pout she managed before they all had to accept whatever she wished of them? ´Erestor?´ a well known voice caught him off guard, making him look at the golden haired Elda at the steps to the gazebo. Glorfindel was there now, looking dashing as he usually did, wearing tight pants and a silky tunic that contrasted perfectly with the golden of his hair, which was braided in a manner the chief advisor had never seen before. It looked nice, Erestor thought. standing knowing Glorfindel´s presence there could only mean one thing. “I wish you had told me before,” he complained quietly, leaving the half filled glass on the table and moving to leave the place, when Glorfindel´s arm snaked to hold him at his waist, preventing him from going further. “Where are you going?” the blond elf asked, puzzled. “Tell you what?” “I am going to my bedroom, and I wished you had told me before no one was going to come. I could have used the time on something more important than stargazing. I learned all constellations again. Twice,” the dark-haired advisor growled, moving away from the restraining arm and descending the few steps to the grass. Glorfindel chuckled privately at the comment, he could not have expected less from Erestor, and he knew that fact to be the truth, the Noldo was abnormally quick when it came to learning… Might be because he loved knowledge and he never tired of it…but that was another topic, he was not there to quarrel with Erestor, not that night. “I thought you were meant to have dinner with me” he complained, “I bribed Lindir for nothing? You have any idea how much I had to beg him?” “I am positive you have better things to do than have a now cold dinner with me, I do not need your compassion, for I am not hurt or anything of the sort. I only wished I had not have wasted my time,” Erestor said honestly, or as honestly as he could, shifting enough in his place to look at the blond still standing on the third step of the pergola. “And even though I know you do beg from time to time, you actually admitting it, -especially to me- tells me you are only doing this out of pity, which I do not need.” “I do not have better things to do, and I do wish to have dinner with you.” Stepping down Glorfindel moved towards Erestor and he swore he could see another layer of the invisible shield being put on, as Erestor glared at him, warning him not to move too closer. “I did bribe Lindir, and it cost me a great deal, so please have dinner with me.” “I do not believe you, Glorfindel,” Erestor said softly, still believing the blond was trying to conceal that no one had wanted to date him for a few hours, even though his heart was starting to soften at the pleading look the blond was giving him. Glorfindel was the most charming elf he knew, and that was one of the main reasons for Erestor to want to stay away. He did not trust himself not to feel as dreamy as he did sometimes, when the elda was around him. He started having silly ideas, and hopes that one day they might actually be friends, if it was impossible for them to be something more. Glorfindel had tried hard to approach him in a friendly manner, but Erestor had successfully pushed him away, he did not want to be Glorfindel´s friend, he wanted something he could not have. “Plus, why would Lindir send you? And why would you bribe him? It does not even make sense.” “You are impossible,” Glorfindel growled softly in distress, whilst Erestor cocked his head slightly to the side to give him that look that somehow managed to silently tell the other, ´I told you so, you just proved my point´. Glorfindel knew it far too well by now. “There is no need to do this,” the Noldo said shaking his head smugly; he had won their quarrel, again. “Go find someone that would really suit you, to share dinner with. I will go back to my books.” “For someone as smart, and cunning as yourself, I would think you are just teasing, but I do think you are truly clueless; are you not?” Noticing the puzzled eyes on his own, he sighed, “I like you, and I had no way to get you to let me be near you whilst in the house. I thought if I had you alone for a couple of hours, I would be able to talk to you; to get you to know me instead of thinking I’m an empty headed elf, as you do. I might be a warrior, but I am not as uneducated as you might think” “I never…” Erestor babbled, suddenly at a lack for words. And he was about to ask again, if Glorfindel was just joking, but the hurt eyes told him the Elda was being serious. “I never meant you to think that, I do not think you are empty headed or anything like it. Honestly, I do not…” Snorting sadly, the blond nodded and moved to the gazebo again, taking the half filled goblet with swift fingers and empting it quickly. He could hear Erestor moving closer to him, standing just mere feet from him, but he did not dare look at the Noldo, not when he was feeling so vulnerable. “I never meant you to think that Glorfindel, I am sorry,” Erestor said quietly wishing to soothe whatever distress he had caused by wrapping his arms along the blond and covering him with kisses but unable to do so. Instead, he placed a hesitant hand on the strong shoulder “Glorfindel?” “When did you not mean me to think so? When you avoided me all the time, or when you do not even address me in the meetings?” the golden haired elf asked, shifting in his place, and meeting the advisor’s usually cold eyes which were now looking back at him with infinite tenderness and something he was unable to read. “I truly do not believe you to be those things. I am sorry I made you think I did,” Erestor said softly, tangling the fingers of the hand which had rested on the other’s shoulder with the ones of his other hand, then reaching out to brush them along the downy cheek. “I just thought you would not be interested in talking to someone like me. Not because you would be someone who could not handle a smart conversation with, but because most find me… well, boring.” He smiled softly with a shrug. “I thought you would get bored talking to me, or even working with me.” “Why would you think that?” Glorfindel asked honestly, Erestor was by far the most interesting soul in the city. There was practically nothing he did not know about or he would not be willing to chat about. He knew books, music, war antiques, architecture and the list could last until near morning if he continued to enumerate; not to mention that he was a unique beauty. Even a second by his side was a feast to the eyes… “Because you are as the sun and the day; warm, cheerful and active; when I am like the moon and the night; calm, bitter and silent. I do not much more during my days than sit in the library with books as the only company or check on parchments from other lands…when you are outside, killing the dangers before they reach the city that keeps those like me safe. I did not think you would enjoy the company of someone who knows more about books than life itself.” Biting his lip in thought, Glorfindel burst into smile as the lovely green eyes pierced his own blue ones. He had never seen the Noldo vulnerable and he found himself enthralled with the sight. It might have been because no one had managed to break the shield, though it could also be Erestor looked more than tempting when looking at him the way he was doing… hesitant and unsure, to the point of Glorfindel wanting to wrap his arms tightly around the dark haired elf and reassure him it was alright to be afraid. “Have you never heard, opposites attract?” he asked almost throatily, daring to lift his hand so his fingers could brush a lock of ebony hair back to its place behind Erestor´s ear. And he had trouble determining if the faint trembling of the slim body had been real or a product of his imagination. “Sometimes, they attract so much they clash,” Erestor replied tightly, with a slightly hitched breath. “Where would be the fun in life, if not for those little moments, that let you know you are alive?” “I am not sure I am alive, not the same way you are at least.” “Oh, believe me; you are,” Glorfindel purred, as his fingers, resting near Erestor´s cheek, started to caress the smooth skin tenderly. “The warm radiating from you skin, and the blush on your face are the perfect indication for it,” he assured, moving a little closer, looking down over the slightly shorter elf. “You might only be afraid to recognize that you are.” Taking a steadying breath, the dark haired elf blushed even more. He felt as if he were on a cloud, and he feared that cloud would dissipate under his feet any moment. “You were late,” he whispered, making the other puzzled. “Making your date wait for over an hour, is not very polite.” He smiled a bit, amused at his own words. Glorfindel smirked, delighted with the teasing. and nodded apologetically. “One of my trainees decided it would be interesting to try fight with a blindfold on his eyes, and in consequence, he received a cut on his arm. I had to take him to the healing house. Does this mean this is a date?” he teased. “Only if you want it to be so,” Erestor smiled, moving to the table and uncapping the mithril tray. “We were lucky,” he informed, noticing the cold meat with small potato cubes, seasoned with parsley; and baby carrots adorning the sides; accompanied by beans. The already sliced, seasoned meat smelt wonderful and the salad looked tempting as well. “Are you hungry?” he asked, raising his gaze to look at the golden haired elf who was smiling softly at him, before Glorfindel nodded and moved closer to the table, sitting at his place whilst Erestor served. Glorfindel served the wine, and placed one of the goblets on Erestor´s side of the table, before he was handed of his own plate. He looked at the dark haired advisor and smiled softly, Erestor was indeed dazzling. “How come you have never had a relationship?” he asked curiously. “I have not seen you involved romantically with either maids, or males since I arrived to Imladris; and I gather by the number of letters asking for the right to attend tonight, this obviously is not due to a lack of admirers.” Erestor blushed again, and took a bite of his food. “I do not know; because I am busy?” he shrugged a little. “Interesting,” Glorfindel nodded thoughtfully, “Now try the truth.” Sighing the chief advisor leaned back on the comfort of the chair, and picked at his food absently, knowing he scolded the twins for doing so, but not really caring if Glorfindel found it amusing. He was anxious, and he needed to do anything to keep himself from running away. “I did have a relationship, when I was young,” he admitted quietly. “His name was Saeros and he worked with me in the library. We started helping Lindir with the books, ordering them; and later on, we become scribes. Though when I started my idyllic relationship with the written word, he considered I paid too much attention to my work, or at least, more attention than I paid him, so he asked me to choose. Either we bound and I stopped working at the library, or we parted…It is obvious how things turned out.” Erestor smiled softly at Glorfindel, “And, since he was right, to some point, I am far too dedicated to my work, and I can not impose my stress and odd schedule on anyone else, I merely decided to remain alone.” “He had no right to ask you to choose between two things you loved,” Glorfindel soothed, reaching over the table to clasp Erestor´s hand in his own. Looking at the rough, working, hand Erestor smiled and, shifting his own under the calloused one, he interlaced his long pale fingers with Glorfindel´s suntanned ones. “That was what I thought,” he said softly, meeting the blue eyes. “But, I do not think, I really loved him. I wanted to think so at the beginning though.” “Do you believe in love?” “I am not sure I do,” Erestor replied honestly, faintly shaking his head. “But then, perhaps I am just scared it does exist and I will never find it,” he added, trying to sound amused and failing miserably. “What about you? I have seen you with many maids and a couple of males before, but not since a few years ago. What happened? You just stopped trying to look for the right elf or you found out how to be discreet enough for none to find out?” “Ah, well I have been told I have a stubborn nature sometimes, and I had to prove it right.” The blond elf smiled charmingly at this date and raising Erestor´s hand he pressed a chaste kiss to it, finding adorable the fact the Noldo actually blushed, and relenting his hold on the perfect hand, he continued with his dinner. “I saw something I liked, and I could not have, so I promised myself I would not try something else, until I managed to *try* getting the one I wanted,” he acknowledged, continuing to munch on his dinner, mindfully avoiding the fact that he might have actually fallen in love by trying to get the attention of the elf he had years ago found no more than attractive. Smiling, Erestor looked at his plate shyly and continued eating his dinner whilst sipping from time to time on his wine. Time flew as they chatted of many different things; what they liked to do, hated and also what they both like to accomplish in the future. They shared small details about themselves, as well as what they considered flaws and endearing traits. They laughed, and remained quiet, but most importantly, they started the process of knowing each other. Nothing else existed on the face of Arda but the little paradise they had created between them at that moment, but as the end of their shared night approached with the wakening of the sun, their hearts despaired a little at the idea of having to part. “I had a lovely time,” Erestor admitted shyly whilst they climbed the stairs that would lead them to the terrace of his rooms. “I have never gone for a walk in that part of the valley, the flowers are beautiful there… I should make sure to try exploring other paths as well; I do not want to be missing beautiful things of that sort.” “Perhaps you would let me accompany you sometime?” the golden haired elf spoke softly, as if hesitant to hear Erestor lie when saying he would. He knew the other enough by now to know when Erestor lied and when he told the truth, even if he masterfully covered it, he could still tell. Shifting as soon as they reached the glass doors, the dark haired elf smiled sincerely. “Of course I will,” he assured making the blond grin happily. And perhaps for the first time on his life, Erestor saw Glorfindel looking uncertain of his next moves. “Tomorrow night perhaps? I promise to be on time?” the blond asked watching Erestor nod and he smiled again before he closed the distance between their bodies to press a loving kiss to Erestor´s cheek. He desperately wanted to kiss the Noldo on the lips. He had wanted to kiss Erestor since he first saw him, sitting in the moonlight when he arrived to the garden, but now that he had managed to get Erestor´s attention, he was not willing to lose everything he had accomplished in that night, with a rushed move. However, the other’s face moved faintly, letting his nose brush on the downy cheek before his lips managed to brush with Erestor´s with the changed angle. He kissed the feathery lips tenderly and adoringly, enjoying each sensation that ran along his spine, making the rest of his body tingle with need and repressed desire. So many times had he dreamt of kissing Erestor, when Elrond’s advisor had been wrapped up in his daily reading, or even in some of the meetings, he decided he would take the luxury of going slow… He wanted try to memorize every purr, every gasp and every reaction he would create in the other. Erestor´s lips parted somewhat, allowing him to snake his tongue inside the warm delightful mouth, where he hesitantly found the velvety tongue which wrapped with his own in a slow dance as the Noldo’s arms came around his neck, pulling him closer. A hand found its home on the nape of his neck whilst long, cool fingers brushed between the golden locks of his hair to gently massage his scalp. The kiss was so surreal, and Erestor tasted so good, Glorfindel considered this might just be another one of his dreams, but it was not. Erestor was there, with him, and he was kissing him back. “Would you?” Erestor asked as the kiss reluctantly ended and they recovered their breath whilst their brows pressed against each other, “would you like to come in?” “Are you sure?” Glorfindel asked, tightening his arms around the slender body and brushing his nose against Erestor´s before he pressed a new, gentle kiss to the parted lips. “I do not want this to be only one night, when it could have been more… I do not want to rush things…” “I am sure,” nodded the Noldo with a loving smile, as Glorfindel´s lips pressed against his own yet again, “and I promise, I will still be there when you wake up, and the following day…” he assured sweetly, “I want to know as much as I can about you, Glorfindel…that will not happen in only one night.” Nodding, the golden haired elf kissed the dark haired one hungrily though sweetly, as his hand clumsily reached for the handle of the door panel, which he was absently pressing Erestor against. Luckily he was holding his lover-to-be tightly for the door almost slammed open with the Noldo’s weight on it. Stumbling inside, with his prey on his arms Glorfindel reached for the door again, and after having closed it, he looked deeply into the green eyes. He could not believe this was happening, he had never believed Erestor would let him do more than kiss him in their first date, even if they had met many mortal lives ago now… And no, he was not hesitating, when looking at the dark haired beauty before him the way he was doing, he was only admiring the perfect sculptured body before him. He had never seen Erestor naked before, as the other had always denied going swim with either him, or some mutual friends to the river. And he could only wonder how Erestor would look like under those concealing robes. The mere thought of a ´real, living´ Erestor naked, anywhere near him was something that managed to get him hard in anticipation. Soft hands cupped his face even as tender fingers caressed his cheeks as the other kissed him gently to part again. It was then, when he realized he had been staring for at least a couple of minutes now. ´I will go get some oil´ Erestor said before disappearing into the bathroom, and Glorfindel wondered what on earth he was doing wandering into his fantasies, when the real elf was with him. There would always be time to fantasize when Erestor was not near due to work, or some other duty their lives demanded of them. Looking around the room as he started unclasping the small mithril buttons of his tunic, Glorfindel realized, besides the fact he had never before been there, that the room was nothing like what he had expected. He had thought Erestor would have a big space, with only books and some plants, but the place was illuminated by paintings of places showing changes at different times in history. There were other paintings too, made of tiny little golden flowers hanging on the sides of two opposite walls, with green forming accompanying tiny leaves, and a faded landscape of pastel colors to make the perfect contrast. Unable to help himself, he moved closer, and smiled privately when he noticed the pastel butterflies mixed among the flowers… These, were not really paintings, but murals, the golden haired elf considered absently pushing the tunic off his shoulders when stepping back to better observe the art work on the wall. Not even the discarded clothes on the chair and at the feet of the bed, or the odd pile of books in the corner of the bookcase which had obviously turned out to be smaller that first believed when made, or the small bowl of milk and cushion by the fire managed to catch Glorfindel´s eye this way… Stepping silently out of the bathroom, Erestor held the small phial in his right hand whilst looking at the other intently. Glorfindel was obviously surprised to see golden flowers on the walls, though Erestor did not think he might have made the correct connection, he must just be unable to tear his eyes away from the bright tiny blossoms, as had most that had gotten to see his work. “Who painted this?” the Elda asked absently, turning to face Erestor as he could hear the almost imperceptible steps on the other side to where the bed was set, to see the Noldo smiling at him whilst leaving the oil on the night table. Erestor had decided to change whilst away, and to Glorfindel´s delight he had only chosen a light, silky bluish robe to cover his body. The few braids were also gone and he thought he could finally ´see´ Erestor. “Do you need help with that?” the advisor teased, as the other was still wearing his pants over an obvious erection. “I think, I might use some help…” Glorfindel babbled, watching his future lover cross the room with catlike moves to stand in front of him, and swiftly, the long pale fingers were undoing the laces of his pants. He had to wonder what was wrong with him, he had never lacked for words before, nor had he been unable to act with out staring so much to the object of his desire. Of course, none of his previous lovers had ever looked as half as striking as Erestor, nor he had ever really felt anything for them besides lust. Controlling himself, as the soothing digits brushed over the bare muscles of his chest, the blond elf reached up to cup the advisor’s face in his hands and, kissing Erestor softly, he moaned with need and desire whilst one of his hands moved to rest on the perfect shoulder hidden with by silky fabric of the blue robe. He touched Erestor´s neck, and he was relived to feel the pounding pulse there, he was starting to believe he was the only one about to scream in need; that he had not been able to drive Erestor crazy yet. The Noldo had took him by surprise with that kiss, and now, he was feeling too dumbfounded as to react. Somewhat, he also feared Erestor would break at his touch, despite the usually worn shield, Glorfindel could feel the sweetness within. “You will have to be patient with me,” he finally admitted quietly, spreading butterfly kisses along the beating pulse as his pants fell to the floor forming a puddle around his feet, and his own hand pushed the covering robe off the perfect form before him. “I have never felt what I am feeling now,” he admitted cupping the slim neck with the palm of his hand as he continued to kiss the opposite side, at the same time his entire body moved closer to press against the slender one. Moaning, Erestor let his neck loll to the opposite side to where the kisses were being inflicted and his lips parted to let small purrs leave his mouth and throat. Glorfindel was being so wonderfully gentle with him, he was starting to believe the other might actually feel the same way he did about this; he was starting to believe, Glorfindel had wanted this for as long as he had… “I have plenty of patience,” he replied, well aware that that was not always true. “Just for you…” he added letting his hand drift along Glorfindel´s spine. Growling, the blond elf carefully walked to the perfectly made bed and, lowering his lover on to it, he crawled over the slim body predatorily before he was able to lean, to let his body lie on top of Erestor´s as they kissed. Their lips were hungry for the other’s and their bodies started rocking against each other when both their needs met, small sounds of pleasure were formed in the backs of their throats and their hands caressed as much as they could. Erestor arched when Glorfindel pulled a nipple between his lips, to gently suck on it before he applied a small teasing bite to it, and his legs wrapped along the blond´s slim waist needfully, when the velvety tongue lapped where the playful injury had been inflicted. He arched again, moaning, when the procedure was repeated on his other nipple, and once the other had had his fun in making him moan endlessly, the swollen lips pressed against his own, making him part his lips to welcome the wicked tongue within his mouth before it left, when Glorfindel decided to suck on his lower lip instead. He was not sure all the years perfecting his timing, or building up his orgasms were going to be of much help tonight. He could barely think clearly now, and they had just began. Smirking at the unmade elf beneath him, the elder elf continued to kiss the marble like chest as his body slid along Erestor´s, the irregular line directed him to the hard flesh between Erestor´s legs, but he had no intention of giving in to temptation just yet, he was enjoying too much the sight of his unmade lover. He could not help but grin to himself in the back of his mind, at the fact that none other had contrived to see Erestor the way he was doing now. “You look stunning like this,” the blond acknowledged, managing to look up as the same time as his lips continued to inflict kisses on his way down to the perfectly shaped thigh, and smirked to himself when his only reply was a soft pleading purr. Catching both thighs in the palms of his hands, Glorfindel devotedly kissed them both, taking his time, brushing his lips on as much skin as they could find. Once he had, to his satisfaction, kissed most patches of skin he could, his wicked lips moved to heavy sacks under the advisor’s shaft. He could hear Erestor moaning even louder now, and wriggling slightly on the bed, which made him take hold of the rocking hips slightly so he would not accidentally brush his teeth over the sensitive skin. He kissed, then licked, then sucked, and when Erestor was about to plead for more, he slipped one of the already teased balls into his mouth and, humming softly, he sucked on it extremely carefully, never wishing to inflict any kind of discomfort to his lover. Erestor´s eyelashes fluttered madly as his eyes rolled back with pleasure, none had ever done that to him, none had taken the time to tease him this way before, he had been turned on many times with an expert touch, but this… was something he had never experienced before… Nor he was sure he would ever have let anyone do this if they had asked… but for Glorfindel to be doing it, it felt so right, and good… he could not even consider to ask him to stop… A thumb joined the teasing, gently stroking the unattended sack and unable to help himself he moaned louder than ever before in his entire life. There was no way back now, he was completely unmade, and at Glorfindel´s mercy. Carefully sliding the flesh within his mouth free, Glorfindel looked up to see the sweat covered elf lying on the bed, shining with the light of the candles, and he considered it might be a good time to stop his teasing. He did not want Erestor to pass out and he just seemed so needful as to actually do so. Plus, he was already hard enough to come with another brush of the coverlets along his shaft, and the last he wanted was to come on the bed, when he could come inside the object of his affection for the first time. “Can you hand me the oil a´ maelarain?” he asked throatily, as he pressed a soothing kiss to Erestor´s hip. Managing to focus his eyes, the Noldo took a steadying breath and nodded absently even as his hand reached to the side, to get the small phial of translucent oil. He had not been sure his shaking hand would manage to transport the bottle from the night table to Glorfindel´s hand, but it did, and now his fingers were being caressed by Glorfindel´s rough ones. “Please,” he whimpered, meeting the darkened blue eyes. And smiled softly when Glorfindel nodded, and smiled back at him. He saw Glorfindel opening the phial and pouring enough oil over his aroused sex, stroking evenly enough to make him even more willing, and he parted his legs welcomingly as if it was even needed to remind his lover he was still there. His lover had not taken his eyes off of him even as he stroked himself. Smiling oddly sweetly in his lustful daze, the golden haired elf leaned forward, holding himself over the advisor, as the long legs wrapped along his waist again and, pressing the head of his shaft to the tight opening, he pushed forward slowly, making as much sure as he could that he was not causing any pain or unnecessary discomfort to the other. All he had been able to read on Erestor´s features as he buried himself within the exceptionally tight passage was pleasure, desire and trust... the long fingers settled on the small of his back as the other shifted slightly, making his erection scream with pleasure and looking down to the perfect green eyes he found something else hidden within them, something that he was again, unable to read. He would have talked then, but the feeling was stronger and prevented him from doing so, as if fearing the moment would break with the words. So he just leant forward, pushing his shaft deeper into Erestor´s body, whilst he ravished the alluring lips silently pleading for some attention. He pressed his brow to the Noldo’s and his golden hair cascaded around them both forming a private space only they shared, as his hips started to push in and out the clenching channel. If he had dreamt of Erestor feeling good around him, he had been mistaken. He felt extraordinary, and somehow addictive. He just knew, none other would feel as good as this, ever… The speed increased with the moans and growls leaving both their mouths, with Erestor arching desperately under him and with fingers clenching along his back. He could feel Erestor´s erratic breathing colliding with his own and he could felt the hard flesh between their bodies getting harder and harder until his lover arched almost painfully under him, clenching tightly around his shaft whilst coming between their bellies with a muffled cry of his name. Thrusting a couple of times more, just what his body asked him to, he followed the other, finding his orgasm within Erestor´s body for the first time. Collapsing onto the panting chest, he felt shaking arms coming around him, holding him tenderly close, and he silently smiled before he pressed a kiss to Erestor´s chest. They were both a shivering mess, and neither of them were able to talk just yet, so they held each other as air made its way back to their lungs. Pulling out gently, he rolled to the side, and embraced the dark haired elf tightly as Erestor curled up to his body silently, resting his head on his shoulder and closing his eyes. Kissing Erestor´s brow soothingly, he smiled, and resting his cheek on the ebony hair, he pondered on the murals on the walls whilst the other recovered. “They are about you,” the advisor spoke softly from his nestle when catching Glorfindel´s eye. “Each flower represents each of the dreams I had about you since you arrived to Imladris…that is why they are only golden.” Looking to both walls Glorfindel blinked slowly, not truly believing what he was been told, but lowering his gaze to meet Erestor´s eyes he knew his lover to be telling no more than the truth. “I never thought you were empty headed,” the dark haired elf smiled shyly. “I just, did not know how to be near you.” “You are near me now,” Glorfindel smiled beamingly at his lover, “and if it is up to me, you would be for the rest of my life,” he assured, lowering himself enough to kiss his new found mate on the lips, knowing even if they had not said those three special words then, there would not pass much time before they are finally able to… Perhaps that same night; after all, Erestor *had* promised him, a walk under the moonlight… The End. Author’s note: I am not sure yet, but there might be a small sequel to this one. Bunnies are already plotting madly. Things depend on RL now.
