Summary: Legolas meets the Sons of Elrond after traveling to Rivendell with a message from his father. Chapter One Imladris, Fourth Age As her partner thrust deeply into her, the look on the elleth’s face was pure bliss. But it was not the maid that the blond elf was interested in: it was her dark haired partner. The taut back and the moans of the muscled elf held the watcher to his spot, captivated by the sounds of ecstasy he heard. He had come upon the pair quite by accident while he was searching for a nice private spot to bathe; apparently he had found it. As the elf’s cries became more urgent, Legolas fought to control his breathing and the aching in his groin. Legolas was not surprised that he had taken his arousal in hand and was stroking it fervently, allowing his thumb to brush over the leaking head frequently. He closed his eyes and listened for the erotic sounds coming from the unknown elf. Needful moans were replaced by provoking groans as the dark haired elf raced towards completion. Shivers traveled up Legolas’ spine as his pleasure was heightened by the delightful sounds made by the mystery ellon. As the elf erupted within his partner, the prince’s seed spilled to the ground, his cry of ecstasy quieted by clinched teeth. He fell back against a tree, unable to stand after experiencing his powerful orgasm, but never losing sight of the elf who caught his interest. Although he was a prince of Mirkwood and was considered the fairest of Thranduil’s brood in both looks and spirit, he had never taken a mate. The archer was no stranger to the to the pleasures of the flesh and he had had his share of lovers over the long years of his life, but his adventurous heart refused to commit to any ellon or elleth, even those who tried to woo him relentlessly. Rarely was he as taken with one as he was with this elf, and he had yet to see his face. The sound of quiet laughter and mumbled words reached his ears as the pair enjoyed the afterglow of coupling. At the sound lilt of the ellon’s musical laughter, Legolas felt his stomach fill with butterflies. He scowled as he realized how like an untried maid he was behaving, and he pushed away the notion that he was taken with this elf already. It was then that the couple separated. The dark haired elf leaned back against the rocks that surrounded the pool as the elleth prepared to leave, and the archer gasped in surprise as he realized the elf was one of the twin sons of Elrond. Which one, however, was the question. The prince knew who Elrond’s sons were even before the twins, traveling with Aragorn’s kin to join the war, had met with the remaining members of the Fellowship and Theoden’s entourage in Rohan. Everyone in every realm knew the skill and bravery of Elrond’s sons; after they sought revenge for their mother’s capture and inconceivable torture, they became had become living legends. He even remarked on it to Gimli in Rohan. The twins had even greeted the prince with nods, but were soon in close council with their foster brother, and Legolas had gone about other duties. On the battlefield he did not fail to mark their fierceness and the way they fought so well together. Their shouts of encouragement to those around them as they slashed their way through the enemy impressed him, but it was after the battles that his respect grew. Their care of the wounded and suffering seemed in sharp contrast to their warrior appearance, but they performed the role with grace. Their abilities as healers saved more than a few from dying away from their loved ones and families. To those they couldn’t save, they offered what comfort they could and held them as they passed from the world. The sons of Elrond were more than passing fair and the prince had not failed to notice the hungry looks they received from male and females alike at the celebration of Aragorn and Arwen’s wedding. Whether they took any of the admirers to their beds, he did not know. He himself had left the celebration early to lounge in the gardens he had so painstakingly nursed back to health as a gift to Arwen. The sound of a goodbye roused him from his memories and he saw the elleth leaving, but the twin relaxed against the side of the pool with his head laid back on the rocks. There was a look of contentment on his face, and Legolas waited a few moments before making his presence known. Moving to the pool, he entered it, lowering himself into the naturally heated water. “Back for more so soon?” The twin asked, with a smirk on his face. He had not even bothered to even lift his head to see who it was. “I would say yes, but this is the first time I have been at this particular pool,” Legolas answered with a small amount of amusement. The twin raised his head at the voice of a fellow elf, his eyes wide and his face flushing with embarrassment. “Ai, I was -- I thought you were someone else!” “Apparently,” the prince said with a kind smile. “Do not worry yourself. I should have asked permission to join you.” “It is a public pool, Prince of Mirkwood; you are as welcome here as I.” The twin returned the smile and introduced himself. “I am Elladan.” “I admit I was wondering which one you were, especially after being offered more.” Legolas grinned as he relaxed against the edge of the pool, his eyes glowing mischievously. “The question is, more of what?” He watched Elladan as he opened his mouth several times, but no words came forth. Legolas chuckled at the twin’s struggle with what to say. “Could it be that you were expecting a certain elleth to return?” “You saw us?!” Elladan didn’t know whether he should be angry or embarrassed. Although the twins were well known for their carnal exploits in the valley and in other realms, he was not sure he wished the blond elf to witness it outright. “I came upon you, but quickly retreated,” the prince explained, thinking that it would be better not to tell the truth just yet. “Once I was sure it was safe, I returned.” “Thank the Valar,” the twin said, relaxing once again. “What brings you to Rivendell?” “My father has sent me with a message to Elrond,” Legolas explained, watching Elladan‘s reaction closely. “It seems he wants to end the animosity between the two of them, and has extended an invitation to your family to visit our home.” The twin raised an eyebrow in a perfect imitation of his father. “Isn’t that interesting? I cannot predict what my father’s reaction will be, but I have a feeling the invitation will be accepted. What brought about Thranduil’s change of heart?” “Truly, I know not, but since Sauron’s fall he has changed,” Legolas replied. “Gone are his dark moods and his detachment from those close to him. He is often thought to be cold and uncaring, but I never doubted that he loved me and my siblings.” “Well, let us not tarry! I am interested to see the look on my father’s face when you deliver this message.” Elladan grinned as he rose from the water and reached for his towel. “Do you mind if I ask Elrohir to join us? He is particularly fond of seeing shock register on father’s face. Believe it or not, he does things just to see that exact expression! It always amazes me what my brother will do for enjoyment. One time……” Legolas did not register most of what the twin said once the dark haired elf had risen from the water. His eyes traveled over the muscled chest as he watched a drop of water slowly trickle down towards the half-elf's navel. The prince had to fight the overwhelming urge to tackle Elladan to the ground and lick him dry. He shuddered, fighting the desire rising in his veins as his eyes took note of the twin's strong thighs and impressive member. Unlike full blooded elves, Elladan had a light dusting of hair around his nipples and a trail of hair leading to his groin. Legolas almost groaned aloud and then realized the twin had asked him a question. He shook his head to clear it and was glad that the half-elf wasn’t looking at him. “Um, I’m sorry, what did you just say?” Elladan chuckled and shook his head as he turned to look at Legolas. “It matters not. I am often told I chatter on and on. My brother has learned to ignore me after a while.” “I did not mean….I am sorry,” Legolas said, giving the twin a sheepish smile. “Do not worry, Legolas,” Elladan said sincerely, giving the blond elf a smile of his own. “Are you going to get dressed or will you sit in the pool all day?” Legolas chuckled and stood to reach for his towel. “I left my clothes just beyond the trees. If you will wait, I will get them and return to the house with you.” “I will wait,” Elladan said, a smile easily forming as he nodded. He watched as Legolas made his way into the trees, his gaze lingering even after he could no longer see him. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ “`Roh!” Elladan called as he spotted his brother walking from the stables. He and Legolas had just begun to look for his twin, luckily finding him without having to search for hours. Elrohir turned at the calling of the nickname his brother had given him. “Where have you been? I could have used your help, Elladan. Three mares foaled this morning, all of them with complications.” It was then he realized his brother was not alone and it did not take him long to recognize the younger elf standing slightly behind his twin. “What is going on and why is a prince of Mirkwood here?” “He is here to give father a message from Thranduil,” Elladan said, grabbing his brother’s arm. “I thought you might want to hear it and see the expression on father’s face. I am sorry about the mares. I will make it up to you, I promise.” “A message from Thranduil?” Elrohir asked, a wide grin on his face. “I wouldn’t miss it!” He pushed Elladan to the side and extended his hand to Legolas. “I am Elrohir. It is nice to see you again, especially if you manage to rattle father with your message.” Legolas had been watching the exchange between the twins and smiled when Elrohir greeted him. He took the offered hand and released it after returning the grip. “Well met, Elrohir. As for the message unnerving your father, Elladan seems to think it will.” **‘He is even more beautiful now, don’t you think?’** Elrohir sent to his brother. Elladan glared at his twin from behind Legolas and sent back an irritated reply. **’You know I care little for males, brother. If you think him beautiful, woo him, but leave me out if it. I will not play games with him.’** **‘I assure you it is no game, Dan. I saw the look in your eyes, the one you are now trying to hide.’** He smiled wider as Elladan looked away with a shake of his head. Elrohir wrapped his arm around Legolas’ shoulder and started towards the house. “Tell me, Legolas, have you eaten? I left father in counsel with Glorfindel and Erestor only moments ago. I am sure there is time for a bite.” “Aye, I could eat,” Legolas admitted with a smile. “You will join me, won’t you?” Elladan fell into step beside Legolas and shot his brother a look of warning. “Of course we will join you. I find I am quite hungry.” Laughter filled Elladan’s head as Elrohir ignored the look and pulled Legolas closer. TBC
