Ervinai, the elleth that was enjoying Elladan‘s attentions in the pool when Legolas spotted them, returns. Methinks trouble is brewing. P/S: I needed an elf who treated Elladan bad in the past. I chose Haldir. Yell at me, scream and stomp your feet, but blame Minuial Nuwing and her recent ‘Facing the Morning Arc.’ http://minuial-nuwing.livejournal.com/115420.html#cutid1 *grin* Just kidding, Min! Feedback: Would be wonderful! Summary: Elrohir and Legolas spend some time cuddling, Legolas returns to Elladan, who welcomes him. The coming day brings Ervinai for a surprise visit and trouble. Chapter Six Legolas stretched as he pulled Elrohir against his body, the twin resting his head on the archer’s chest. “I did not hurt you, did I?” “Nay,” Elrohir replied, honestly. “I am just unused to…it has been a long time since I was used thusly. I had forgotten the pleasure and joy that could be found.” “You were well satisfied then?” The prince asked, a knowing smile lighting his face, his fingers working their way through the silken ebony length of hair. “Aye, very well,” Elrohir replied, “But next time I wish to take you, Legolas. I have longed to do so since I first saw you, years ago.” “Truly?” The admission surprised the prince - he could never remember either twin regarding him in more than a friendly manner. “Aye. You were just past your majority.” Elrohir explained, reminiscing. “So young, but so beautiful, even then. I admit I envied the one you chose to be your teacher.” “Would that I had that luxury,” Legolas replied, almost angrily. “I was forced to share myself with someone…it does not matter. I wish you would have said something to me. You would have brought some joy to me even if I would have spent the rest of the day blushing to my ears.” “That would have been a sight to see. I doubt you blush often now.” “If any could bring a blush to my face, it would be you, Elrohir,” the archer replied in an amused voice. “I shall make it my duty for I would love to see it.” The younger twin replied. When Legolas yawned, Elrohir looked up at him. “You are tired, the road was long and we have kept you from resting.” “Tired I am, but Elladan asked that I return to him when I leave you,” Legolas admitted, softly. “If I were to allow myself to sleep now…I’m afraid I would sleep through the night.” “My brother would understand,” Elrohir promised. “He might, but I will not take the chance that he would begin to doubt my word,” Legolas replied. “I would have you both trust me.” “Aye, it is important that Elladan trust you,” the twin agreed. “His past is…he needs someone he can trust. He was used and treated horribly, and vowed he would never take another male as a lover. Somehow, you caused him to break that vow.” “Who was this elf who caused him so much pain, Elrohir?” “I have already said too much,” the elf knight replied. “The rest you need to find out from Elladan. He will share it with you soon, I think.” “Perhaps,” Legolas concluded. “He has suggested we explore the valley in the afternoon followed by a picnic and swimming. He said you will join us. Will you?” “I believe that can be arranged,” Elrohir responded with a smile. “The last of the mares foaled yesterday and I can’t think of anything that will prevent my going.” “I am indeed blessed,” the prince said, grinning. “I can think of no better way to spend the day.” “You may rethink those words, my Prince, when you find the ride home uncomfortable,” Elrohir warned. “I intend to take what was denied me this night.” Melodious laughter filled the room as the archer reacted to the twin’s statement. “You never know what will happen.” Elrohir moved until he was staring down at Legolas. “Do not doubt my desire for you, Prince, it runs deep in my soul and once set it free, there will be no stopping it.” The younger twin’s kiss surprised Legolas and he moaned delightedly as Elrohir’s hot tongue plundered his mouth. The prince returned the kiss eagerly, teasing and sucking on the tongue until they both pulled away gasping for breath. “There is nowhere you can run that it won’t seek you out. Nowhere to hide from its burning rage.” “You are bold to declare such,” Legolas replied, more in shock than in anger. “Aye, I am forward, but I speak the truth, my Prince,” Elrohir retorted, confidently. Disconcerted by the twin’s declaration, the archer swung his legs over the side of the bed. “I must bathe.” “So eager to wash my scent from your skin,” the elf knight teased. “Nay, I would not return to him smelling of you just as I did not come to you smelling of him,” Legolas remarked, flustered. “Help yourself to my bath, dearest Prince, but forget not my words,” Elrohir declared, his smile teasing. Legolas walked as calmly as he could to the bathing chamber, but once the door was closed, he fell against it shaking. The emotions he had been fighting all night besieged him once again and he wiped the tears away from his cheeks with his hands. His muttered curses were thankfully drowned out by the falling water. Things weren’t going as planned and Legolas cursed under his breath for allowing himself to be so enamored with the twins’ form and beauty. The warmth that rushed through him while coupling with each twin scared him more than he cared to admit. He was not looking for a mate; he had only wanted to pass the time in Imladris giving and receiving pleasure from the lord’s sons. The affair had to end before they left the vale; he could not stress that point enough. Tomorrow he would make sure Elrohir understood and remind Elladan of that fact. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Elrohir had been sleeping when Legolas emerged from the bath, and for that, Legolas was thankful. Now as he made his way to Elladan’s bed, he hoped that the older of the twins had drifted off as well. Luck, however, was not with the archer this night it seemed. “You have returned,” Elladan said, relief evident in his voice. “I said that I would, did I not?” Legolas asked quietly. “Aye, you did, but I wondered if you would change your mind.” The older twin scooted over and lifted the covers in invitation. Legolas joined him under the blankets and cuddled against the warm body. “Perhaps from now on you will trust in my word.” “Perhaps,” Elladan replied, wrapping his arms around the prince. “Who am I to deny the future lord of Imladris?” Legolas asked with a yawn. “Sleep, melethron,” the twin whispered as he caressed Legolas’ cheek. “We have selfishly kept you awake after your long journey.” “It was well worth it,” the archer said as he drifted off to sleep. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Elrohir left his room about midmorning and was surprised to find Elladan sitting on the sofa, staring at the floor. The younger twin cleared his throat before speaking. “Have you had breakfast?” “Nay, I was waiting for you,” Elladan said, looking at his brother with a wide smile. “And Legolas? Is he joining us?” Elrohir asked, returning the smile. “Legolas is sleeping. I had not the heart to wake him,” Elladan confessed. “He looks so young and innocent when in slumber.” “Well, he is young, compared to us,” Elrohir said, trying to suppress a grin. “I would use several words to describe him - innocent isn’t one of them. You survived the night. I knew you could do it.” “Aye, it was wonderful, but this morning I fear I gave too much of myself,” the elder twin divulged, sadly. “Such feelings; they reminded me of what I felt for Haldir before he...he...I should have known better than to try. Legolas is so beautiful and I desired him, but what he makes me feel….it scares me, Elrohir.” “The feelings you speak of, I felt them as well,” Elrohir replied, sitting down next to his brother and wrapping his arm around him. “You cannot allow the night of your majority to have such a hold on you. I understand your fear, but like I said before, Legolas is nothing like Haldir.” “I do not know that I can face him,” Elladan admitted, giving Elrohir a sad look. “I’ve made a terrible mistake. I cannot continue on this path. You desire him. I will not stand in your way.” “You will deny your feelings?” Elrohir barked, moving to the edge of the couch. “That is nonsense, Elladan. Listen to me closely, brother. Denying what you feel will only cause pain. Pain for everyone involved, not just yourself. Please, think of last night and the elation I know you felt.” “I have thought of that!” the elder snapped. “It is what kept me from fleeing from him this very morn. When I woke, he was wrapped in my arms….I was overcome with so many emotions.” “You have to work through this for your own sake, Elladan.” Elrohir said, standing. “Come, we are late for breakfast, but perhaps we will find some food.” ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Half past noon found Elladan, Elrohir and Legolas on their way to the stable with all the supplies needed for an afternoon of exploring, picnicking and swimming. Laughter at wicked jests floated on the breeze causing several residents to smile indulgently as they worked or passed by. To Elrohir, it seemed that Elladan had taken his advice and reconsidered his feelings. He appeared to be completely relaxed and enjoying Legolas’ company immensely. The prince was flirting shamelessly with his twin and he was responding in kind. When the two paused for a heated kiss, Elrohir knew that everything would be fine. “Get away from him!” a voice shrieked as a beautiful, dark haired elleth ran over to pull Legolas away from Elladan. “Who are you and how dare you kiss my elf?” Elrohir groaned as Legolas straightened his clothing and Elladan looked as though he wished the ground would open up and swallow him whole. Three sets of eyes stared at the elleth in shock. The prince, displeased by the interruption, gave the elleth a charming smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes. He recognized the elleth from the pool and turned to look at Elladan. Elrohir quickly stepped in, hoping to avoid attracting more attention. “Ervinai, may I introduce Prince Legolas of Mirkwood? My Prince, this is Ervinai, daughter of the bard and favored tryst partner of many, including my brother.” “Elrohir, must you always tease?” she asked, sweetly, while glaring daggers at him behind Elladan‘s back. “I am not your elf, Ervinai,” Elladan interjected coolly. “You have forgotten your promise to me already?” Her slight whine and pout had no doubt been practiced for hours in front of a mirror. Legolas and Elrohir rolled their eyes and waited for Elladan’s reply. The older twin bit his lip and turned to look at Legolas and Elrohir. “I am sorry. I forgot I promised to help her today. Please, you go and enjoy yourselves. I will meet you back here tonight.” Ervinai, pleased to have Elladan to herself, smiled graciously before leading him off to parts unknown. Legolas turned to Elrohir and smiled. “Looks like I am all yours for the afternoon, think you can handle it?” Elrohir laughed and nodded his head. “Positive.” He didn’t miss the look Legolas took over his shoulder in the direction Elladan had gone.
