Summary: Legolas and Elrohir enjoy their afternoon while Elladan handles a determined Ervinai. Chapter Seven Legolas rested his head on Elrohir’s thigh as they relaxed after a ride near the northern border. The twin’s fingers made their way through his pale blond hair as he related a story of an incident in his and Elladan’s youth. It seemed to Legolas that there was an abundant supply of such anecdotes and he enjoyed hearing them, especially if it meant listening to Elrohir’s rendition. He had a gift when it came to telling stories, making it seem as if you were actually there when it happened. The prince also enjoyed listening to the sound of Elrohir’s voice. It was similar to Elladan’s, but certain words and the actual tone were different. The younger twin’s laughter was deeper as were his moans when aroused. “Your poor parents!” Legolas laughed as Elrohir finished another tale. “Or should I say poor Glorfindel and Erestor? It seems none of them were safe from the two of you.” “Somehow they survived it, as we did,” Elrohir replied, chuckling. “Father once told us that the Valar would bless us with children exactly like us, and mother hoped it wouldn’t be true. She said she couldn’t handle us and our children if they turned out to behave as we did.” “Will you be glad to see her when you sail?” Legolas noticed a hesitation and quickly apologized. “I am sorry, you don’t have to…“ “Nay, it is fine. I don’t mind telling you,” Elrohir assured him with a small smile. “Elladan and I have not made our choice; we have until father sails.” “The choice to be mankind or elfkind?” “Aye. We have vowed to choose together, as we cannot imagine living without the other,” Elrohir explained, gently. “Of course, seeing my mother is one reason to choose to sail.” “I am not sure what I would do if faced with such a decision,” Legolas admitted, solemnly. “Ai, Prince, we are supposed to be having fun!” Elrohir reminded him. “I say we ride until we find a suitable place to have our meal and swim. I did not bribe the kitchen maid for nothing.” Legolas’ laughter brought a smile to the elf knight’s face as he smoothed the prince’s hair. “Ride with me,” Elrohir requested softly. The prince nodded with a smile and mounted Elrohir’s horse. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Elladan stared at the mare chewing on the fresh oats as she regarded him with what he considered to be a bored expression. “This is the horse no one can ride?” he asked, looking around, making sure he wasn’t missing another horse in the field. “Aye, Elladan. Father insisted I have you work your magic on her,” Ervinai maintained, sounding helpless. She leaned closer, brushing her breast across his arm and whispered in her most sultry voice, “We know how well your magic works on me.” The twin ignored her remark and stepped gracefully between the rails of the fence. When the mare turned to look at him and went right back to the bucket of oats, Elladan knew he had been had. He knew Ervinai, knew what she wanted, and before Legolas showed up, he had been glad to give it to her. Biting back a string of curses, he wiped his forehead and tried to think of a way to get out of the mess he was in. Proceeding with caution, he approached the mare, speaking to her gently as he reached out to pet her. As he handed the bucket of oats to Ervinai, he continued to stroke and pet the horse, keeping his voice even. Elladan spent several minutes deciding whether or not he should bribe the mare with promised treats if she would act out. “You do realize that a horse must accept her rider,” he said, taking his time getting to know the mare. “Much like an elleth must accept the ellon who rides her, wouldn’t you say?” Ervinai asked coyly. Elladan pretended he hadn’t heard the question and mounted the horse, and as he suspected, the mare calmly waited for instructions from her rider. The elf warrior worked the horse for well over an hour, making sure she could be trusted by even the youngest of riders. When he reached the small stable, he dismounted and rubbed the mare down. “You are just magnificent!” Ervinai cried as she caught up to him. “My father will be so pleased when I tell him what you have accomplished.” “Do you think me daft?” Without waiting for an answer, Elladan continued. “This mare is well trained, so tame and docile I would trust her with an elfling for a rider.” “She does not allow me…” “I am beginning to understand why!” Elladan interrupted angrily. “You are the most mean-spirited, conniving, spiteful, lying elleth I have ever met!” Ervinai raised her eyebrows and a smile appeared on her face as she pressed herself against him. “That is not what you said yesterday. If I remember correctly, you begged me to ride you while naming me the answer to your over zealous prayers.” She purred each word out in a way she knew he could not ignore and worked her hand into his leggings. The elleth licked her lips and lowered her voice. “Beg me now, Elladan. Let me answer another prayer for you.” ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The location Elrohir chose for their picnic was breathtaking, and Legolas made him promise to bring him back before the trip to Mirkwood. They had a view of a cascading waterfall emptying into a pool of crystal clear water. Behind them, trees guaranteed their privacy, and it looked to him as though the glade was made for romantic interludes. He wondered briefly how many times the twins had used it for such. Not that it mattered. While Elrohir spread the blanket, Legolas toed off his boots and allowed the grass to tickle his feet. He didn’t get much of a chance in Mirkwood to do such a thing and he took every chance to indulge himself while traveling. His chuckle garnered the younger twin’s attention, and Elrohir looked up and smiled when he saw the delight in the prince’s eyes. “If I had known how much you enjoyed the grass we could have stayed at the house and played in the side yard,” Elrohir remarked. “You remind me of an elfling feeling the blades for the first time.” “I do not get to feel it often,” the archer explained with a smile. “Besides, you promised me a swim and if we had stayed at the house, we could not.” “Aye, I did, and you will have your swim,” Elrohir promised. “For now, come and have a seat; our food is ready.” Legolas joined him and let out a pleased chuckle as he reached for the bottle of wine. “You brought a bottle you procured for last night. I am impressed, hiren.” “I thought you might enjoy it, ernilen.” Elrohir replied, smiling and holding the glasses to be filled. To Legolas, the meal and company were excellent, and he searched his mind for the last time he had felt so comfortable and at peace. He could not remember. Too long, he decided. He was pulled from his thoughts when Elrohir began to unwind the tiny braid at his temple. Such care was taken, and before moving to the other, the twin paused to kiss him tenderly. The more intricate braid at the back of his head took a little longer to unravel, but when the elf knight finished, he sat cross-legged in front of the prince. “I believe I like your hair unbound,” Elrohir said as he ran his fingers through the pale, silky locks. “You are exquisite; beautiful beyond compare, Legolas. How does one so gorgeous on the outside retain such loveliness within?” A blush worked its way over Legolas’ cheeks as his eyes fell to the blanket they were still seated upon. “Ai, there it is,” the elf knight gasped when he saw the flush. “It makes you even more attractive, a feat I thought impossible. Look at me, ernilen.” Legolas complied with the gentle request, and when his azure eyes met Elrohir’s gray ones warmth swelled within him, causing him to tremble. “You feel it, don’t you?” Elrohir asked, his voice barely audible over Legolas’ racing heart. Unable to speak given the sizable lump in his throat, the prince nodded hesitantly. His fear must have shown on his face, but he could not look away from the gray orbs. “There is nothing to fear, melethen,” Elrohir gently assured him as he reached out to caress the archer’s cheek. “It is not often one is blessed to experience such a feeling; do not struggle against it. Embrace it, be thankful for it, but do not fear it.” “It takes my very breath!” Legolas forced out the words in a whisper, still unsure. “Aye, it will,” the twin replied with a smile. “Have you never sensed it before?” “Nay, not until…it cannot be!” the prince gasped, realization dawning on him. But even as he spoke the words, he knew it was true. “Aye, it can and it is,” Elrohir stated gently. “I am not distressed that you feel the same for Elladan, and more importantly, you should not allow yourself to be troubled by it.” Finally able to break away from the twin’s gaze, Legolas finished his glass of wine and tried not to lose control of himself. “How can I not be troubled by it? If you know the answer, Elrohir, please tell me.” “You will find your answer in your heart, ernilen,” the elf knight replied softly. “Listen to what it tells you, for only then will you find what you seek.” Legolas frowned, but recognized the wisdom in his advice. “I will heed your counsel in this, Elrohir. For one who is well trained in the art of battle, my heart remains untried.” “I am only too pleased to be of assistance,” Elrohir replied, a mischievous grin making its way to his face. “Ready for a swim?” “More than ready,” Legolas answered, returning the grin. “I seem to have some nervous energy that needs to be expended. Methinks wrestling with you in the water will take care of it.” “Ai, you can be sure of that, ernilen!” Elrohir answered with a laugh. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Elladan groaned as he was stroked by Ervinai’s experienced hand; his willpower was slipping away along with his anger at the elleth. Thoughts of the blond prince, whose body he took such pleasure in, fled as his need intensified. He took her mouth in a hard, bruising kiss as he forced her against the side of the stall, his surrender complete. Ervinai, satisfied her ploy worked, allowed her mouth to be ravaged by the twin she worked so hard to conquer. It was true she benefited from the vast skill Elladan possessed as a lover, but what she truly reveled in was his succumbing to her ministrations. The fact that she was everything he accused her of being mattered little when his shaft was buried deep in her core, fucking her senseless. As Elladan carried her to the loft, she worked to remove his tunic, latching her lips around a dark nipple as soon as she was able. Dark ovals covered his chest as she worked her way to his lips once again. A well-planned giggle was set free as she was thrown to the hay and quickly disrobed, her pose wanton and eager. Ervinai’s eyes moved over his rapidly appearing skin, his muscled chest and thighs, and his beautiful erection, dripping and ready. “Ravish me,” she whispered, hoarsely. Elladan’s look was dark as he covered her with his body, leaving little doubt the elleth would get what she asked for. His entry was hard and deep, and taking him all in brought a moan of pure bliss from her lips. She wrapped her long, shapely legs around his waist and met every thrust with one of her own. The twin’s moans delighted her, giving her further proof of her hold over him, her mastery. Knowing their passion was being forced to the edge, Ervinai held back, waiting for her name to fall from Elladan’s lips. That was, after all, the ultimate surrender. His cries became louder and his thrusts more desperate; he was there. She closed her eyes as she let her own orgasm flow through her, listening for his cry. *“Legolas!”* Elladan shouted in ecstasy as he came undone. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ “Admit it,” Legolas teased. “Come on, Elrohir, you know it’s true.” “Fine, you can hold your breath longer than I can. Happy?” Elrohir asked, chuckling. “Very!” the prince replied, smiling as he sat down near the bank of the pool. Elrohir joined him, sitting close and wrapped an arm around the archer’s waist. When Legolas immediately relaxed against him, the twin placed a kiss on his head. “I have enjoyed our afternoon and deeply regret having to return where I will have to share you with others.” “Meaning Elladan?” Legolas asked, looking at him. “Meaning anyone,” Elrohir admitted with a sigh. “There are so many things I would love to show you, so many places I could take you, Legolas. Places that would take your breath away and fill you with awe. Places I have only ever shared with Elladan.” “I would love to see such places,” the prince replied, moving to kneel in front of the twin. “I want you to show me everything - everything about you, everything about love. Take my breath away, Elrohir.” The elf knight pulled Legolas into his lap and kissed him with a fierceness neither one of them knew he possessed. TBC
