Title Don't Hurt Me “I love you Elijah, but sometimes you aggravate me” said Ben as he left his apartment for work. A tear fell from Elijah's eye and over his bruised cheek. All he'd done was accept a drink from another man at a gay bar in LA. He hadn't meant anything by it but Ben was so controlling. He got up and decided to go into town as he couldn't stay in the apartment anymore and he needed some fresh air. After a short walk he arrived in the centre of LA and headed for a green bit with some benches and trees. He sat cross legged under an oak tree, touching his bruised cheek he flinched at remembering when Ben had slapped him so hard he had fell to the floor. No don't cry again.. “Hello..can I sit here?” said a familiar voice. Turning Elijah saw the man from the night before who had bought him a drink. Then remembering his bruised cheek he quickly turned back. “What's your name?” the man said sitting down. “Elijah..why?” “I'm sorry, I didn't mean. Hey what happened to your cheek?” asked the man reaching out with his hand to touch Elijah's face. Backing away Elijah got up. “Where are you going, I'm not going to hurt you Elijah” “They all say that” “I'm Sean by the way, I'll drive you home” “Thanks” at Elijah's apartment Sean stopped and noticed a car in the driveway. “That yours..looks expensive” “It's Ben's..my partners, I've got to go thanks for the lift Sean” Elijah got out of the car and headed for the apartment. Sean watched after him with a worried look, he knew something was wrong and decided to stay outside Elijah's apartment. “Where have you been!” cried Ben from where he sat in his chair by the fire, he was drunk. Elijah knew what Ben was like when he was angry and drunk, there was nothing he could say that would stop him from being hurt. So he didn't answer instead he headed for the bedroom. “Hey, I'm talking to you!” Elijah pushed the door shut before Ben could get to him, but before it shut completely Ben kicked it open. It hit Elijah in the middle of his face making him dizzy and he fell into Ben's arms. What was happening, he felt hands on his shoulders and pain as something was inserted into him. Ben was raping him as a punishment. Elijah screamed but it wouldn't stop. “This'll teach you to disobey and ignore me!” cried Ben as he came and withdrew out of Elijah. He got dressed and left. Sean looked up to see a man leave Elijah's apartment and get into the car and drive off. Slowly Elijah got out of the bed and managed to get dressed. Sean came into the apartment and saw Elijah's bedroom light was on, he entered the room. Elijah was stood by the bed. “Hey are you all right..Elijah? The room was spinning he could see two of Sean..he felt himself fall to the floor and knew no more. Sean ran to his new friend and scooping him up he got him into his car and drove back to his house. Once inside he lay Elijah on his sofa and noticed bloodstains on his jeans. “He's been raped..no..it couldn't have been Ben” He ran a bath for Elijah and once it was ready he went into the living room, Elijah was sat up and looked up as Sean came in. “What happened, where am i” “Hello Elijah, I found you in your apartment you fainted and I bought you back to my house” “What..I mean..I can't..” “What are you talking about, listen I've ran you a bath” Elijah got up. “A bath?” “Yes come on..it's okay, I won't hurt you” Elijah felt safe with sean and let him lead him to the bathroom. Then he remembered he's been raped. “Thanks Sean, I'll be okay can I have some privacy” Sean nodded and closed the door. Elijah got undressed and slowly climbed into the hot water, crying out with pain as he sat down. Sean ran in. “Are you..” he was about to say all right when he saw Elijah's bruised body and blood coming from where he'd been raped. Elijah tried to get into the corner of the bath and when Sean sat by him and put his hand on Elijah's shoulder he started shaking. “It's all right Elijah, I won't hurt you I promise..it's okay” Sean said. Getting a sponge he gently scrubbed Elijah's back. “Did Ben do this to you?” Elijah looked down at his bruises. “Yes” A tear fell from his eye. “It's all right Elijah” Sean held Elijah round his shoulders. “Come on lets get you dry, the waters going cold” he helped Elijah out of the bath and wrapped a towel round him. Elijah suddenly felt sad but confused he wasn't used to being treated so nicely. He half expected Sean to hurt him but when he realised he wasn't he started crying. Sean had dressed Elijah whilst he had been thinking and now they were sat on the rug by the log fire. “Don't cry Elijah” Sean took the boy in his arms as he cried, Elijah sobbed onto Sean's shirt. “I'm scared Sean..what if Ben finds me” “He won't and if he does, he won't hurt you I'm here now” Elijah sat up and wiped his eyes. “Thanks Sean” he smiled. Sean noticed how cute he looked when he smiled. “Elijah?” “yeah” “Well..can I kiss you?” Elijah backed away. “You want to kiss me..I..I don't know..” Elijah looked down, sean moved closer. “I won't hurt you i promise” “I..don't..” Sean lifted his head and looked into his blue eyes, leaning forward he kissed Elijah gently on the lips. Elijah responded by kissing him back. There was a knock at the door Sean got up. “Be right back Lij..love you” “Love you too” Sean opened his door to see a man standing there. “Hello, can I help you?” “Yes..is Elijah here?” “well..who are you? Elijah appeared behind Sean and saw Ben. Sean turned to see Elijah staring in fear at the man he then realised who it was. “Come on, let's go home” Elijah hid behind Sean “No I'm staying here, I..don't love you anymore..you hurt me Ben” “But” “I think you should ho Ben” Sean said looking at him in the eyes. “Fine, hope you two are happy” he said then left. Sean closed the door. Elijah was shaking. “It's okay Lij, he's gone, I'll protect you, come on lets get some tea” Said Sean putting an arm around his new boyfriend, he led him into the kitchen to fix them some tea.
