Wow, what a touching and beautiful story! You have captivated me completely and I was truly suffering along with Legolas. However, in my opinion the change in Haldir's demeanor came a bit too quickly and abruptly; I think you could have stretched this out a little more. I love how you portrayed Legolas's friends and the bits with Gimli's axe served to lighten the mood a bit. :)
