Story notes: This is my first effort at fanfic and it took me forever to write, so please be kind. You wouldn't believe the questions I asked myself. Are there buttons in Middle-earth? (Quick check of the movie. Yes.) Can Tolkien-based characters swear? (I figured that since I was already having them do things that would make poor JRR spin in his grave like a dancing Hobbit on crack, what the hell.) What is available for lube in Lothlorien? (Aragorn: Ranger Extraordinaire to the rescue.) Anyway, here it is. Thanks, that is, to a road trip to Pennsylvania and an anonymous lady.
