Story notes: Please send feedback, any is welcome, this is only my second shot at a fan fiction (and I was stupid enough to accept a challenge...still, the pairing appealed to me!) This takes place well before the Quest of the One Ring and all the events in Lord of the Rings (ie Aragorn and the Halflings haven't been born yet)...*thumbs through copy of RotK* about two thousand years before, to be precise (when Mirkwood was still called Greenwood, for all you fanatics out there, I don't wanna get flamed!)
