Oh Valar... the last chapters were incredibly drammatic. I HATE Isildur!!! He's such a nasy, base, filthy human... Anyway he's a good character, as all the others. They may not belong to you, but you used them in a most perfect way. I agree with lovelegollas, the way you describe friendship is great.

Great chapter. I hate Isildur! How can he insult Oropher like that?
Why was Elendil just simply standing by? I wish Thranduil and Anoriel just sailed for Valinor after the battle.
Another thing I like in this series is the deep friendships of Erestor, Elrond, Thranduil, Glorfindel etc. You have made it look so natural.
Great going, but I wish Oropher won't die. He doesn't deserve to die.
