Along with discrimination against Homo, it was also allowed to force a maiden to marry in Gondolin? Then this Gondolin had fallen in my mind before it was fallen by Mogoth.
I know it's fiction, but so well written. :-) The angst feels real. As a mortal, I don't mind being sent to Sauron or Mogoth or whatever because I can hardly believe the very existence of such a being, :-)) but do mind forced marriage.
