Story notes:Late entry for the Library of Moria challenge for the International Day of Slash 2016.
I had a prompt but did not follow it very closely: see end notes.
The character death warning is for the death of an OFC (although canonically Tar-Miriel dies as well, which is only hinted at in the story). The death is accompanied by canon-typical violence for the setting.
Prostitution is referenced, but is not described in detail; it does however make the central relationship dub-con, depending somewhat on how exactly you view such set-ups.
